Places posted against Carrying

I wanted to start a thread were we can list places that are posted. There seems to be a movement within the malls to post against carrying that started last summer/fall. The first place I noticed was the Rivergate Mall in Madison and I believe I saw where someone said the Hickory Hollow Mall was also posted.

I heard a story about the new Lowe's being posted several years ago in Tullahoma. A bunch of guys got together, 30+, went to the main entrance and called for management. When the manager came they asked for each of them to have an escort to ensure their safety since they could not protect themselves. Lowe's decided posting against carrying wasn't worth the lost business of a possible boycott after that.

I'm not much of an organizer but I'm wondering if we did something like that at the Mall's we could stop or reverse the trend before it spreads to other retail outlets.

For those of you that haven't seen a proper posting here it is, it has to mention the law and can't just be a handgun with a slash through it.

Well, here is my sign;

I'd be into that.

Better yet, photocopy Glocksters sign and tape it to their window below their sign. Maybe they will start to see how idiotic it is to disarm the LAW ABIDING patrons.

In Memphis, all malls are owned by the "Simon" corporation, who in name only, seems to ban "weapons of all types" on their properties. However, they are not posted in each entrance, in accordance with the legal signage required by law. It's usually something like Rule #7 on their "Code of Conduct" placard in each entrance. You have to stop & read it to even know.

John Harris had a "BANNED LOCATIONS" site on the TENNESSEEFIREARMS.COM website at one time. Last I heard, it was being updated.Don't know if it is back up yet.
