Props to the preacher!

Pastor Carl Sanders, Evansville, IN, pulled the pistol he carries to stop a robbery in progress of a Dollar General store.

"I told him don't move, put your face down on the ground and don't even look at me right now. I just told him this is out of love," Pastor Sanders told 14 News.

The "weapon" carried by the would-be robber turned out to be a spoon wrapped in plastic to resemble a pistol.

Praise the Lord, and pack the pistol!

BTW, Dollar General is one of those companies that prohibits their employees from carrying ANY KIND OF DEFENSIVE DEVICE while working:

When did pepper spray become a weapon?!

Despite being robbed numerous times and having several employees killed during robberies, Dollar General prefers that their employees be good and defenseless.

BTW, this is an african-american pastor stopping an african-american bad guy from carrying out his crime. We need more african-americans to take advantage of their right to bear arms, and this story demonstrates it!
