Pharmacy robberies becoming an 'epidemic' in Maine

Drugs, money, it's one stop shopping for the addict with a gun. Earlier this tear, or late last year there was a story about a pharmacist that stopped a robbery with his personal, licensed firearm, and the chain drug store fired him for his trouble. The company was probably worried about being sued by someone, or losing their hoplophobe customer base.
 
shame our society breeds such animals in the first place..... it just goes to show our system and culture has failed it's citizens countless ways.........

no doubt!!! my oldest got a fever last month and my woke me up to get some children's ibuprofen from teh pharmacy. It was 11pm and i had fallen aleep in front of the TV. i had to explain to her that a trip at that time, wasn't going to happen in flip flops and hospital scrubs, but rather in full EDC.
 
That was Walgreens if you want to pass the information on and have your other law abiding, ccw compadres NOT shop there ever again like me and my family.

keep a bottle of aspirin in the medicine cabinet so you don't have to run out at night to get some
i have a bottle around the house it's probably about 20 years old though lolz probably no good anymore but i never take em even if i had a headache or fever i usually just ride out the symptoms without taking something for it other than clear liquids and lay down and rest
 
gun free shopping at Walgreens.....

that was Walgreens, they fired the hero employee. Since then I have taken my custom elsewhere. WHY should I patronise a place where any thief knows no employees are able to resist them, or protect their patrons? Sure, I will carry, but there is a principal here..... fired a guy for using his own means to neutralise an armed robber? That is NUTS. He should get a promotion!!
 
This is one of the reasons I got my permit. I used to live in Bangor (bath salt central) and now live in central Maine. Not as bad, but still not great. Now that I'm responsible for a wife/kid/home, I'm not taking any chances with these lowlifes.
 
only in america is there a drug store on every corner while we are told to just say no to drugs unless it's the crap the doctors for big pharma are pushing......... a few years back there was big news of investigation on the pill mills in my area...seems to me big pharma created this and allowed it to profit even more as well the private prisons profiting from all the new inmates on that covert profiteering operation using mules for profit and then throwing them in jail so their partners in crime could profit as well......either way big pharma makes out they have kids hooked on junk in grade school and keep them hooked on crap all their lives.....our nations people are pumped with drugs from womb to tomb smmfh at that and the kids now a days hooked on junk to where they will try to rob the drugstores to get their fix or sell it to get other drugs.....it's insanity i tell ya insanity
