So me and my wife live here in TN and she was wondering what the hold up was with her permit since it has been 60 days. She called the Nashville office to find out what the problem was and she said the low paid state worker was yawning the whole time she was talking to her on the phone lol. I told the wife don't worry its just like everything else in life people are always eager to take the money but sometimes the wait can be a real ***** and of course state workers sleeping on the job don't help things either lol.Just sharing some information.

Needless to say I was laughing my ass off over it. It will be okay honey lol

The real problem may not be at the state level. The FBI is currently being swamped with fingerprint cards and background checks. I just got my permit here in NM. and My Wife is waiting on hers as I write this. (they were filed on the same day)We have been recently told that the new waiting period may be as long as 4 months. Be patient. My first amateur radio license took 13 weeks to process. That was a loooong time ago. LOL

I have to make an appointment to turn in my application to get my ccw in central Oregon. Setup my date a week ago - it's May 1st - that was the first opening.

I am patient. She isn't. Whats wrong with that picture lol But I do understand her wanting it as soon as possible. She is on the road a lot and always out of town so I want her to have it also if she needs it.
