permit process

im 20 and will be turning 21 next week and was wondering would i be able to start the process now or would i have to wait until im 21 to start the process?

Take the class now, you can't start the permit application until you have the course certificate in hand.

Once you have the date for the course, make appointment with sheriff after that date. Some counties it takes months just to get an appt., some only a day or two.
