Peace Keeper or Closet Liberal?

This is rather an opinion poll and seeing if anyone else faces this.

I just today, Saturday, August 17th, Purchased my first AR. A Nice little Colt LE6920.

Last month I built a tactical Mossberg 500 12 Gauge, Really Nice.

When my wife walked in today she admired the AR, then asked me to get rid of the Mossberg.

Apparently she really doesn't like it.

Anyone face this at home?

To Keep the peace, I'll sell it, but she sounded like a closet liberal there for a moment... But I know she's not!

Why??? Weird...

Back in the day...
I rode Harleys, Owned guns, watched Football and NASCAR all Sunday...
When we were heading towards marriage she made it clear, No Motorcycles. No Guns, and I sure as He!! had better things to do on Sunday than watch Sports all day.
The Milk was so good, despite all this I just had to buy the cow.
In the last 2 years she has softened a bit, so, I went a little fast for her. She is a little worried about the direction she thinks I'm going in. I need to respect that because the Milk is still really good.

I'm very fortunate in that my wife loves firearms as much as I do. We both have our CCW permits and carry daily. Sometimes our "date nights" turn into a nice day at the range. Carry on my brother, but I'd hate to see you sell the Mossberg. Having said that, sometimes such sacrifices are needed to keep domestic tranquility:lol:

Must be a special kind of milk. If my wife said no guns, I'd say no wife.

Get rid of it, but get a 20 ga. Mossberg 500 tactical, that she may use! That might sour the milk for a while, but make buttermilk out of it before it turns too bad, and get another carton of fresh milk to go with the 20 ga. tactical for her!

If that's a nogo, just get rid of it and get some especially sweet milk for a bit.
