Passenger in vehicle that gets pulled over. How to respond?

In a must nofity state I'd wait till the cop brought me into the conversation to notify but, as I've stated previously, I'd pretty much expect to be brought in. In a no duty to notify state i wouldn't speak until spoken to and wuldn't notify unless directly asked do you have any weapons.

In Ohio, you'd need to notify BEFORE you were "brought in".

The determining factor is being "stopped for a law enforcement purpose". If you were in the vehicle, you were "stopped".

This applies ONLY if armed. If not carrying, you don't have to say anything to him.
