Grassroots action network Liberty Pennsylvania has countered Everytown’s recent, controversial anti-gun ad in devastating fashion with this sublime parody. The Everytown ad used mawkish sentimentality to cravenly exploit the scenario of a defenseless mother helpless in her attempts to defend herself and her child from an “evil” gun and the man who wields it.

The Liberty Pennsylvania ad simply follows that line of thinking to its logical end. What variation in the scenario would have actually helped the mother in the Everytown ad? Hint: It’s not stricter gun control laws.

What really would have helped is a mother who’s “armed and ready to take action to defend herself and her family.”

I find the need to even run a counter ad just clear stupid. When dealing with Anti's of any sort you must fight ignorance at every turn.
