Pa. out of state permit

How come no one ever mentions the centre county Pa sheriffs office out of state permit ? covers GA , got it back in less than 4 weeks , 26 bucks And good for 5 years

It makes no difference what PA county you get your License To Carry Firearms. Although they are issued by county sherriffs, they are state licenses. Both resident and non-resident PA LTCFs are accepted in Georgia.

A trip to PA would make a very nice road trip in another month or so. & I've got to burn 100 hrs PTO before mid-June. What an excuse for an over-nighter or two.

Does anyone know if a Pennsylvania Sheriff can not accept non-resident applications? I may be in Bucks Co this year and I would like to get this done while up there. I realize they can deny for cause, but wondering if they just refuse to accept them legally.

I also have my AZ permit. I applied by mail and rec'd my permit in a few weeks. No need to travel anywhere for it.

As long as your background checks are fine, you will be able to get it. The requirement for being in person is so that you can physically sign their electronic signature pad. I would contact the Buck's Co. Sheriff's office directly and find out from them the details.

There are a few sheriffs that will refuse to accept an application from a non-resident....they have no legally authority to do so however. You will be ok with Bucks County.

start putting the popular options into the map up top and see what fits best for you (ie non-res FL, AZ, UT). got my AZ one in the mail a couple weeks ago and it works for GA, MS, and AL, so with my res SC i can carry in ~35 states and across the entire southeast.
