Hello every one, I was just curious about owning a firearm after completion of PTI.
I live in Florida and about six years ago I got In Trouble with the law... And had to do pti after completion all charges were dismissed
I've talked to a few people who are instructors about getting my ccp and they've said I'm ok to try and apply, was just wondering if anyone has any info about this subject, and if I'm ok to try to apply and where do I go to fill out a forum?

Thanks for all the help.

PTI for what?

Note that your post is titled "Owning A firearm after PTI", while in your post you talk about a CCP (Concealed Carry Permit?). These are two different things. One can own a firearm without a Florida Concealed Weapons License. Both also involve different statutes.

The eligibility requirements for a Florida Concealed Weapons License are described here: Link Removed.

It was for drugs, but everything was dismissed by the court after pti.
And I was wanting to get my ccp and also just a .308 for hunting. Sorry for any confusion

no conviction, charges dismissed, no issue, just get the dipostion from the clerks office costs a few bucks will save time when they run your record.
