OWB Holsters

Who makes a good OWB clip on belt holster

Personally, I wouldnt put the words "good" and "clip on" together when talking about OWB holsters.... OWB holsters really need to be in close, next to the body/ held/connected tightlt to the belt... Otherwise your holster/firearm is going to be flopping around and getting caught on and slapping things...

Consider something like a good pancake holster instead to alleviate those drawbacks....

This is just my experience talking though, do whatever you want...

Sits 0.25" off my waist, enough room for a sweatshirt or light jacket to fit behind the bail release. This is an rti modular holster, it locks into an rti disc platform.

Any of my pancake holsters will accept any of the belt clips available.

For a secure clip on owb I'd suggest these new style clips:

Do you mean a paddle holster?

Looking for something that can easily be taken off when I have to enter a place where guns are not allowed I have several IWB holsters that range in price from 15-115 dollars but want a good quality snap on OWB holster

You need a paddle holster then... l reccomend a leather one (the all kydex ones create a lot of holster wear on firearms). Paddle holsters are much different than one with a "clip"....

There are many more options than paddle holsters...paddles are nice though.

Howdy,

I always carry OWB and use a loop through holster ( Glock Sport holster for my Glocks ) or a belt slide holster for my PF-9, Taurus PT 845, 1911, etc. and any time I need to remove my pistol to enter a "No Gun" place, which is very rare. I just unholster the pistol and place it under the armrest, leaving the holster on my belt.

I've been carrying for over 33 years and I can unholster and reholster without anyone being the wiser.

Plus, I've never been a fan of the Fobus type paddle holsters. It seems like every time I bend over, twist, turn or even move they want to pop out.

Like IWB carry, they aren't for me.

HTH and your mileage MAY vary.
