How is it possible to over clean your guns if you are using clp?

That's why I prefer to own & carry Glocks.
There is absolutely no need to overclean them.
Minimal maintenance required.
They run great even when a bit dirty.

The only time you can over-clean a gun is if you dismantle all of your guns for cleaning at the same time, leaving yourself with no immediate method of self defense. My gun cleaning table is in a detached garage that faces the street. When I take a weapon out to the garage to clean it, I take an condition-1 1911 with me "just in case".
