Our Second Amendment Is The Last Line Of Defense Against Islamic Terrorism

The Second Amendment has nothing to do with hunting or skeet shooting, it is the right to be able to defend ourselves from all enemies foreign and domestic.
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Passed by Congress September 25, 1789. Ratified December 15, 1791.
The horror of the Islamic terror attacks in Paris last month barely had time to process itself in our collective brain when the Muslims struck again, this time in San Bernardino, California, which killed and gravely wounded over 40 souls. In less than 24 hours, Obama began doing damage control for the Muslims by reducing the incident to "workplace violence" instead of calling it by it's proper name of Islamic jihad on American soil. That should be the only red flag you will ever need if you were wondering if Obama was willing and able to keep us safe within our own borders.

During his 28 years on the police force in Los Angeles, James Craig tended to agree with his state’s tight control over concealed carry permits, believing fewer guns would lead to fewer violent crimes. But when he moved to Portland, Maine, in 2009 to serve as the city’s new police chief, he discovered a different culture – one where guns actually made people safer.
Now Craig, the chief of police in Detroit, Mich., has a message for the law-abiding folks in his crime-ridden city: Arm yourselves, and criminals will think twice about attacking you.
At a press conference at police headquarters Thursday, the Detroit News reports, Craig praised the deterrent power of a legally armed citizenry. “When we look at the good community members who have concealed weapons permits,” he said, “the likelihood they’ll shoot is based on a lack of confidence in this Police Department.”

The classic Liberal lie, when talking about our Right To Bear Arms, is that they will say, "don't worry, no one is trying to take away your right to go hunting". They choose that language very carefully and intentionally because they are trying to reduce the Second Amendment to say it applies to hunting and target practice. It doesn't. The Second Amendment exists because our Founding Fathers knew very clearly that the day might come when Americans would need to defend themselves from internal enemies like a government that was turning into a dictatorship. As Adolf Hitler rose to power in Nazi Germany, he took away guns from the common people. So did Stalin and every other dictator that rose to control their nation. Unarmed people cannot defend and protect themselves. Thomas Jefferson said this about what to do if America ever moved away from the Constitution:
"That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."
Jefferson and the others knew that the people could not carry that out if they were unarmed. In the case of American life in 2015 under Obama, we have a president who absolutely refuses to utter the words "Islamic terrorism", and attempts to whitewash jihadi terror attacks with the label of "workplace violence".
In 2013, the CDC says that 10,076 people were killed at the hands of a drunk driver, yet Obama issues no calls of any kind to stop or reduce the sale and consumption of alcohol. That is 27+ people per day every day slaughtered by alcohol, and his administration does nothing. In the same period, 1,490 people were stabbed to death with a knife, but Obama issues no calls of any kind to stop or reduce the sale of knives to anyone. Harvard University says that each year 840,00 people are hospitalized from adverse reactions to prescription drugs from their doctors, and that 128,000 of those same people will die from legally prescribed medication. That is over 350 people who die every day from something that is legally given to them by someone they trust.
Do you ever hear Obama passing any kind of Executive Order to protect those people from being killed? No, you do not. And there is a reason for that.
Alcohol, knives and prescription drugs, while deadly, are not what you could ever use to defend yourself from anyone who came at you with weapons of war like guns and bombs. Self defense means gun ownership, the Founding Fathers knew that, and they included the Second Amendment to give us that ability. That was their gift to us to ensure that the God-given freedoms given to us are never taken from us. When we lose the ability to purchase and own guns, when we lose the Second Amendment, we will no longer be a free people in a free society. This is why Obama and the Liberals could care less about drunk drivers and Big Pharma that kill 10 times more people every day that guns ever will.

America, when you allow our leaders to take away our Second Amendment, you will no longer be able to defend yourself from anyone or any government as our Founding Fathers intended. ISIS has arrived at our doorstep, via invitation from the Obama administration, and the attacks have already begun. Obama has not and will not call it for what it is, Islamic terrorism, and therefore he will do nothing to protect us from future attacks.
The fight is here, the war has begun, and the future of America hangs in the balance. Freedom isn't free, it often comes at a great price.

They call the WWII soldiers the "greatest generation", and in 2016 we need to be every bit as vigilant, every bit as willing to fight, and every bit as great as they were. The Second Amendment is our last line of defense in this war that has been thrust upon us. Islamic terrorists are slaughtering Americans at will, unchecked by a radical, unAmerican government that refuses to acknowledge their very existence.
