"Other weapon" legality Q for Oregonians

Wanting to carry an expandable baton while out walking my dog in Oregon.

Can't find out from statutes if it is legal to carry this "weapon".

The confusion from checking state laws as I travel is some states list the baton as a prohibited weapon with generically inclusive but unclear descriptions of clubs, etc.

Can I, as an non LEO, carry a baton in Oregon?

I "think" an expandable baton is considered a LEO weapon only, and know of no civilian licensing for it, but I'm new to Oregon. Ownership alone in CA will get you arrested.
