options for concealing

I am a slender guy 5'10" 155, what are some comfortable options for concealing? Don't want to wear a vest all the time or carry a fanny pack either.

Looked at the thuderwear and similar ideas. Any others???

Really important that it is comfortable and no printing.

What are you concealing? A knife? A big gun? A little gun?

If you have a big gun, a vertical shoulder holster is my most comfortable way. Otherwise I recommend an inside the waistband holster, carried at 4 O'clock.

If you have a little gun, you can use the options listed above, or pocket carry, or ankle carry. I've never tried any bellybands or vests or thunderwear, etc. So I cant speak to those.

You have to just go through what we all go through and keep trying until you find what works for you. I have been carrying for years now and have settled in on the Bianchi carrylok. I'm not saying that it's the right one for you but it took me a while to get where I'm at. It prints from time to time but I just don't care any more. I'm comfortable, summer or winter doesn't matter, t-shirt and shorts too. I didn't care for IWB but that was before all the new options came out. Who knows anymore....
It would be nice if there was some sort of rental company out there so we could try everything before buying...

Holster for G33

I carry my G23 in a Galco Kingtuk IWB
holster. It is the most comfortable holster I have ever owned and does not print. FYI it can also be used for
a G26 G37 and G19 as well ( just in case you get the fever and buy some more Glocks :). Stay safe and enjoy
your new G23.

Concealed carry in Nursing

Search the 'net for a blog titled NURSE WITH A GUN. He has a lot on concealed carry in your profession. I don't think he is still an active blogger, but he has some good ideas.

Best yet, K.L. Null VAM (Vampire) cross-draw driving holster. Concealable in any position and sturdy with dress belt.

155 lbs? Wow. I think I could concealed carry you.

In all honesty, it will be trial and error and at the end, you will wind up with a drawer full of holsters to remind you of your journey.

Im 5'7 120lbs during the winter months I've been cc'ing my g23 in a crossbreed super tuck deluxe in the small of my back. Works well with untucked shirt (not at work) at work I have to wear shirt and tie so I toss on a nice sweater or sweater vest just to make sure theres not printing. i just purchased a kel tec pf9 for the summer (not sweater vest months) Right now ive been using a belly band untill my new crossbreed gets here.

ok, so we know you want to carry a G23, but what do you usually wear.

slacks and ties with long sleeve shirt coat, sweaters, jeans, shorts??

do you wear scrubs? do you need to have your shirt tucked in yes. No?

it would help alot. Take a few pics and upload them so we can have an idea...

but if not get this.

get a good gun belt. you can get a crossbread, Galco IWB 2nd ammendment, tuk and go, white hat holsters.

desantis has some cool stuff also. highnoon holsters also a good bet.

hope it helps.

.

Usually pants like 5.11 taclite or similar. Tucked in polo. I'll take some pics. Great idea.

Sad but true, those who have said you have to work out what works for you have it right. Over the years, I have tried carrying about all of the quality guns in the gun store and every type of holster. What I settled on and have been using for several years now is a Kahr P9 in a Minotaur MTAC holster from Comp-Tac. I do not necessarily recommend that combination of even that holster to others as there are just too many variables, some of them purely subjective, from person-to-person.
