opinions on xd-s

I'm seriously considering purchasing a Springfield Armory xd-s for concealed carry. Do any of you own one, and if so, what are your thoughts?

I have tested one and it's a fine weapon. Co-testers all agreed. I looked high and low for just the right conceal gun and finally found it. My favorite weapon is Sig Sauer, but I was only able to get a starter Sig (P2022) which is a great, very underated gun. So I was blown away when I found the Sig P250c 45 (that you can exchange uppers to make it a 40cal & 9mm for only $250 each). It had been right under my nose the whole time. Either of these are great weapons. The Sig was (ironically less than the starter Sig) $450.00.

Had an XDm 40 and really liked it. It was just a little bulky in my hand. Everyone I know that has one likes theirs as well.

I finally got my hands on one and I am totally happy. Springfield has a winner here and I'm glad that I was able to get one. Accurate and comfortable.

Ive got an xdm 9 and couldn't be happier... feels great shoots great 19 rounds at your disposal :) seriously ive had mine over 2 years not a single issue!!

I absolutely love my XDS! I went from an LC9 to the XDS and I find that it carries a lot better for me. It's just more comfortable. I also like the way it shoots more. It's not as snappy as the LC9. Of course, YMMV. If you can, find a way to shoot one and see what you think.

I love my XDS, it's just the right size. This gun makes you improve your grip as this gun does have problems if you limp wrist it, also this gun does require a breake in period, of about 300+ rounds. The 9mm version is to come out in a few months so if you have problems with the recoil of a 45 in a very small package you can go with the 9mm, the 40 is comming out the first quarter of next year.
