opinions on Beretta PX4 compact

I am considering purchasing a Beretta Px4 Compact Storm .40 as an optional carry gun. I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on this?

I have several Beretta's including a PX4 45 Full Size.
I carry the PX4 and love to shoot it.
I also have a 92 Compact which is a real joy to carry and shoot.
Have you shot it yet? If not do so and handle it as much a possible before making your purchase.
Kind of like buying a car.
Make sure you like the fit and feel and performance.

I don't own a Beretta, but I rented a PX4 Storm Compact last weekend in 9mm and I was truly impressed.
I also shot the nano in 9mm. May have to add one or both to the stable.

A few months ago, I was in your shoes. I narrowed my choices down to Px4 Storm 40 and Ruger SR40. My wife and I are Ruger fanatics so opted for SR40. However, the Px4 Storm is a great choice. I really liked it, but happy with my Ruger.

I was in your shoes 2 years ago. I really, really wanted the Px4 in .40 S&W. I finally bought a Glock 23 mainly for the discount I was getting. I love the Glock but would love to get a Beretta in the future. My son just bought a Px4 in 9mm. He loves it!

I have 3 PX4s - subcompact 9mm, compact 9mm, compact 40 and love all of them also have a glock 23 also a very good gun. I just like the sa/da best. I'm looking for a S&W sigma 9mm or 40 just for range use only, I hear you can pick these up for around $150.00, would do well for bouncing around in the truck and range use I guess. :patsak:

Great gun! It fits well in the hand, shoots great and so far will eat any ammo. My PX4 .40 and my PX4 Storm Carbine .40 are a great matched pair.

Just Last month I traded my PX4 sub compact to get into another 1911 ultra.

That said I miss that little guy! That .40 in a compact/sc frame is one mean sucker. Out of the sub compact I shot low and left. Guy next to me at the range noticed and asked if he could give it a spin. I said sure. Now, I forget how far the target was, not very, but he grouped 6 rounds the size of a half dollar dead center. The gun can shoot.

If you thinking of getting one you won't regret it

I looked at several guns and selected the Beretta PX4 Storm sub compact in 40. Shoots great, little recoil. The deciding factor for me was the safety/de-cocker.
