My husband is getting a HK 45c for CC. The only thing I have heard about these guns is that they are expensive. We are not buying it though, trading for airbrush work. I just wanted to get some opinions about the quality, accuracy, etc.
I absolutely love HK firearms. And the 45 is a great round. Im not sure about the conceal-ability of the 45c though. I have a USP 40C and it is fairly difficult to carry completely concealed. Accuracy and dependability are legendary IMO.

I have an HK USP 9c and it is AWESOME. Very accurate and ultra-dependable. I have acquired other handguns that feel better in my hand, but I cannot bring myself to give up the peace of mind that a gun of this caliber (no pun intended--I am talking about the level of quality that is inherent in an HK pistol) gives me ... especially since my primary reason for acquiring firearms is for the just-in-case scenario.
I can conceal it at the 4:30 position with a custom IWB holster (5'6" female, aging athletic build). Leaning more than 45 degrees forward at the waist will reveal its presence, but barring that it just hides in the curve of my spine, just behind the hip with jeans and a t-shirt.
They are more expensive than some other choices out there, but I have NO REGRETS about the purchase of this gun and plan to keep it indefinitely.
I have the HK USP 45compact. I LOVE IT!. I wish I had bought the HK45c instead- I will probably end up getting it eventually. They took all the good **** from the USP series and improved upon it- not really believing it was possible until I tried them out.
