Open carry in Gonzales La

I just went into Don's Seafood open carrying a S&W 357. No one said anything. I am sure that as long as you do not go near the bar area, everything would be fine to open carry. Has anyone else open carried in there?

As you know Louisiana is an open carry state. As long as a business does not have a no weapon sign (yes in Louisiana they do hold the weight of the law) you can enter. However if you enter the bar side of a resturant you are breaking the law. Also if you are over a .05 BAC your CC permit is invalid. The law states .05 BAC for CC permits. It dosen't address this if you don't have a permit. Also even wihout a no weapons sign, if you are asked to leave, you must leave.
