Delaware is an open carry state. It is perfectly legal to carry a pistol on your hip here. The exceptions are cities like the capital, Dover, that require a CCW permit to carry a gun there. I have a CCW, but some times I open carry too. Lots of time when I'm working around home (live in the country) I open carry as a matter of comfort. But, I'm always carrying somewhere.
