One 'very lucky' dude.

Really nice photos, I do photography as a serious hobby and enjoy it as i do my firearms. But I dont think I would be photographing snakes that close. I would of been unloading on them and turning those snakes into chicken nuggets, sorry, I dont care much for snakes. LOL

There a bit off on they're statistics. But he's a very lucky dude.
In general it's believed to be a 2 hour window for antivenin to be administered, within 2 hrs and you have about an 80% survival rate, after 2hrs you have a 20% survival rate!
Dry bites with cobras in captivity are fairly frequent, not sure with mambas, as even among experienced venomous keepers mambas and most of Australian elapids are taboo!!

I once ate snake fillets in HK when I was in one of my assignments. I was tricked into it by a "friend" I was assigned to stay with in his home. Of course I trusted him then, but not after. :sarcastic: If I don't cook it, I don't eat it. If I can't cook it, my family won't eat the food either...well occasionally they will take me out to give me a break. I love my Nikons, I love photography too, SWD...

I won't photograph snakes either.
