Ohio Resident with Utah CCW working in Indiana

Question: I am a resident of Ohio, and conduct a lot of my work in the state of Indiana. I obtained my Utah CCW Permit prior to 5-10-11, and I know that as of 5-10-11, Utah now requires the submission of a copy of the Gun Carry Permit from the State in which you are resident of, in the application of the UTAH CCW permit, however, this raises questions for me, for which I cannot find in any of my Utah CCW Class notes/materials:

1. Must I have an Ohio Gun Carry Permit, in order to excersice my Utah CCW Permit's priviledges while in Indiana (or for any reciprocity state, for that matter)?

2. Is my Utah CCW Permit acceptable enough as a Permit to Carry, and not requiring me to obtain an Ohio Gun Carry Permit, both while in Ohio, as well as while in Indiana?

3. Am I permited to carry my Utah CCW Permit in lieu of carrying an Ohio Gun Carry Permit for any state recognizing the Utah CCW Permit?

Any State or regualtory Code numbers to research such information would be GREATLY appreciated. I've been on many a web site seeking state codified language of such, and cannot find anything directly addressing this matter.

Thanks All...any assistance is GREATLY appreciated.

1. No. Your UT permit is still valid even tho you currently do not have an OH permit.

2. Yes. I see nothing in OH law that requires an OH resident to have an OH permit to carry in OH.

3. Yes...and No. With the exception of CO, FL, ME, MI, and NH will only honor a RESIDENT UT permit. Every other state that honors the UT permit will honor it as a non-resident.

In order for you to renew your UT permit, you will be required to get your OH permit first.
