Ohio CCW Renewal for Instructors

I was told, if you are a Certified NRA Instructor, You only need your Instructor ID to renew your CCW License. Is this true?

Called the Ohio AG's office today to check on a couple of other questions, so I asked about this. Was told you can not sign off on yourself.
