Hello people, Not too many Gun forums with Off topic area's. So its nice for a change to find a forum that has open minded people.. And who are interested in learning new things. I have a questions about Concealed carry but i was afraid it would be banned as off topic. SO just in case i will ask here.

I am trying to get a Concealed permit. However last time i went there was a huge backup. I am Disturbed by all the background check security being any tougher than it is now. And i have reason to believe they could Keep me from getting a concealed permit by using this Mental Illness propaganda to Put into this background check. It seems about the exact same time these background checks go into place it seems Obama's health care online access go's online! Go figure. SO i am thinking they had this planned from the start. I currently Open carry. And have been for a super long time. Now i am being looked at as a Possible mental health patient before i can conceal. If they ban Open carry. And i believe they are. And they restrict Concealed we are going to have a huge problem. Anyone else seeing all this?

If they ban open carry, And control Concealed and use mental illness as a weapon, Isn't this Illegal?

Where are you from? It does not say. I cannot speak about your current state's laws, but I can about mine (PA).

If you are openly carrying, it makes it difficult to legally be mobile, since one needs a LTCF (license to carry firearm) if you choose to carry a firearm on you in your vehicle. Therefore, the majority of the people I know that do open carry, also have gone through the channels to legally carry concealed. However, from what you have said, you have not obtained the necessary permit from your state to do so. Does your state allow you to open carry while in your vehicle? From the states laws that I have looked at (the ones I travel through), this is not the case and one needs to first obtain a permit to carry in their vehicle.

Also, there is no more rigorously performed background check going on currently. However, the politicos in Washington would like there to be a universal background check with more stringent measures including changing how mental illnesses are recorded in the check.

On your other point about mental illness. If you do have a mental condition, you may want to reconsider carrying in the first place depending on what your condition is. If you are subject to episodes where you are not "in control" of yourself, or if you make rash decisions because of it then you become a danger to yourself, your loved ones, and all the people around you.

No. I am in Washington state. they count it as Concealed if i am in my car. I believe that its Illegal to force me to get Concealed for me to Conceal and to pay money for permission when i am Legally able to Own. And I believe its a good way to make Innocent people criminals.

I would also like to say When i open carry sometimes police ask me if i have concealed permit. I think its a Trick to answer that question. I did some Digging. And it looks like Police were making the Claim if you have Concealed you should Or cant Open carry. I think that is another reason they want people to Conceal. But i do believe they will ban open carry ..

No i do not have mental Illness. I have owned a gun since i was 21. i am now 36. With the Mental Illness BS going around i think its a matter of time before they Make everyone a mental case to Discredit the Population for more Government controls. I do not believe these shootings around the world are citizens. I believe them to be Government OPS. As i predicted that is what they were doing in 2011 in one of my videos
