Obama’s Speech On Oregon Mass Shootings Declares Open Season On Christians

A WATCHMAN
President Obama gave a speech yesterday where he decried the Oregon mass shootings, and then made a nearly 10 minute plea to take away America's guns. But glaringly absent from his copious amounts of spewed words was any mention at all that the gunman specifically targeted Christians, and only Christians. Just two days earlier at the United Nations, he gave a speech where he warned that "intolerance towards Islam" would not be tolerated. Then, when Christians were targeted and killed for being Christian, he said nothing on their behalf. In doing so, the message he sent to the entire country was that Christians neither deserve nor will receive any special protection as Christians. Targeting Christians because they are Christian is, by definition, a hate crime. When race riots broke out in Ferguson, Obama stood on the side of the rioting criminals. When race riots broke out in Baltimore, Obama stood on the side of the rioting criminals. At the United Nations, Obama embraced the mantle of Islam and gave an impassioned speech against those who would impugn it. But Christians targeted and slaughtered for their faith in Jesus Christ? Their spilt blood was apparently not worthy of even one word spoken in solidarity with the cause of Christ.

Look around you, Christian America, and you will see that the Obama government is against you. Just this week he said "we also have to say clearly that our religious freedom doesn’t grant us the freedom to deny our fellow LGBT Americans their constitutional rights.” Want to go to jail? Open a Christian bakery or flower shop. Where is the most unsafe place in America for babies? In their mothers wombs. The same number of people who died in 9/11 are killed in their mothers wombs in America every day. Where does Obama stand on abortion? He loves it….a lot. Nine (9) dead Christian Americans, slaughtered in cold blood for their faith in Jesus Christ, and all Obama could say was "more gun control". What Obama didn't say spoke volumes more than what he did say, and the message he sent is unmistakable. That the targeted murder of Christians rates no special mention and carries no special punishment. Open season on Christians. Want to guess how his speech would have been different if it was nine (9) Muslims who were killed for being Muslims? Here’s a clue:“I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.” – from page 261 of the paperback edition of “The Audacity of Hope”.

Cold reality of coming persecution

Cold reality of coming persecution

The "president" is against Christianity. You can see it in his cold remarks in the wake of the Umpqua Community College shootings in Oregon. He has a long history of disrespect for Christianity. In June of 2007, he said, "Whatever we once were, we're no longer a Christian nation. At least not just. We are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, and a Buddhist nation, and a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers." One of his first official acts against Christianity was the release of his Department of Homeland Security's April 2009 report that depicted pro-life, pro-second amendment, pro-traditional marriage Christians as extremists. Next came his Cairo "New Beginnings" speech where he fabricated (code for "lied") history about Islam at the expense of Christianity.

He has been so obsessed with white on black crime as an issue of social justice, and black on white crime as an issue of gun control, that he has coldly, and some may say, strategically, abandoned Christian foundations in favor of divisiveness. Prayers are not enough for families of victims of mass shootings, in his mind. There has to be a politicization of their deaths. He wants to take guns away from citizens and punish police officers, even officers of color, if they are enforcing the law. Think about it, the courts have not sided with any of the cases he and his Administration have exemplified as social justice issues from Trayvon Martin to Michael Brown. Assassinations of police officers have gone unmentioned.

Now we see yet another mass murder against Christians perpetrated by someone under the influence of Nazism and/or Islam. Yes, the killer in Oregon was a mixed race (half black, half white) and had two friends on Facebook, one of which was a known Islamic terrorist. The Islamic State reportedly claimed credit for the killings. Nazism and Islamism are connected. It wasn't only the Nazis who were killing Jews in World War II--partnered with them was Islam. Not surprising then that the shooter asked his victims to stand and declare whether they were Christian, an affirmative answer meant immediate execution. All the "president" could talk about was how Americans needed to give up their guns.

The "president's" response is appalling and offensive. More offensive is the mass killing of Christians in Iraq and other areas of the Middle East that this "president" has turned over to the bloodthirsty Muslims. Token bombings of the Islamic State have done nothing to prevent the barbarous acts of Islam. What does the "president" have to say about it? He lectured the National Prayer Breakfast February 5, "And lest we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place - remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ." Jesus said in Matthew 7:20,"Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them." Here before us is the the cold reality of coming Christian persecution ushered in by America's own "president."

"Obama’s Speech On Oregon Mass Shootings Declares Open Season On Christians"

I declare open season on anyone who would take advantage of Barry Dunham Soetero Barack Hussein Obama's declaration of open season on me, Ringo, Oldgrunt or any other Christian anywhere in the world.

If I were a bettin' man, I'd wager I'll bag my limit before any of them bags theirs.

US "president" responsible for Christian persecution

In March 2011, the US "president" sidestepped the War Powers Act and Congress by involving the US military in Libya as part of the al Qaeda and Muslim Brotherhood-backed Arab Spring overthrow of several Northern African and Middle Eastern governments. To counter Congressional pressure that he violated the Constitution by committing troops without Congressional approval and in supporting terrorists that were killing US troops in other countries, the "president" took to the airwaves and made his case directly to the American public in an address on March 28, 2011. From the National Defense University in Washington, DC, he justified his actions saying that innocent people could be massacred.

He said, "To brush aside America's responsibility as a leader and--more profoundly--our responsibilities to our fellow human beings under such circumstances would have been a betrayal of who we are. Some nations may be able to turn a blind eye to atrocities in other countries. The United States of America is different. And as President, I refused to wait for the images of slaughter and mass graves before taking action." In other words, he committed US and NATO finances and firepower to prevent a possible attack on the Libyan people by then leader Muammar Qaddafi. In doing so, he directly funded a known al Qaeda operative who came in from Iraq and whose men had been fighting against US soldiers.

Fast forward to the world created by the US "president's" support of Arab Spring. The Middle East is in disarray. Iran is on pace for a nuclear weapon, and the missile system to deliver it. Columnist Raymond Ibrahim recounts story after story of Christian beheadings, rapes and crucifixions in Iraq, Syria, Libya, and Egypt. Ibrahim writes: "The jihadis took one group in front of a large crowd. They cut off the fingertips of a 12-year-old boy, who steadfastly refused to submit to Islam. They "severely beat him, telling his father they would stop the torture only if he, the father, returned to Islam." He refused, so they "also tortured and beat him and the two other ministry workers. The three men and the boy then met their deaths in crucifixion." Then two Christian women were publicly raped, and with eight others were beheaded and hung on crosses.

This is just one story that has become commonplace in the Middle East. Ibrahim concludes: "The ongoing slaughter of Christians by the Islamic State and the destruction of churches and antiquities must be laid at the feet of those Western nations that, intentionally or unintentionally, paved the way for the Islamic State." So where is this US "president" who once vowed that to "brush aside America's responsibility..to our fellow human beings...would be a betrayal of who we are"? It would appear that Christians are less than human beings not only in the eyes of the Islamists, but also in the "president's" eyes. Actions speak louder than words. Jesus said in Matthew 7:20, "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." The fruits of this "president" has been torture, death and destruction to our Christian brothers and sisters.
