Well, at least he is making an honest attempt to show that he is aware of the lesson Democrats learned after their support for the AWB led to them losing control of both houses of Congress in the midterm election 1994. He's clearly been trying to dance around the issue as much as possible, but when it comes down to it, if he had his way, no one would have guns.
