It doesn't surprise me one bit, he's almost NEVER looked on the military with favor. When the soldiers at Fort Hood were shot, it wasn't Obama that went to the hospital, it was George Bush and his wife Lora and you know something, there wasn't ANYTHING in the press about that, the only way I knew about that was a short story listed here.

Which is exactly why people like myself say that he doesn't give a rat's ass about the military. In fact, I will go as far to say that he shows nothing more than contempt.
