Obama & Feinstein lead greatest surge in arming U.S. in modern times!

Maybe we should congratulate Obama, Feinstein and all the other gun control fanatics for instigating the greatest surge in the arming of the U.S. population in modern times!! Guns, ammo, magazines etc. are being sold as fast as they hit the shelves. Even 22 ammo is in short supply. They have succeeded in creating such a mistrust of government that even if initial gun control legislation is less than draconian, expect that panic buying and hoarding will continue for the long term. As discussed in many other threads, the general opinion will be that at best this is only a first step to restrict firearms.

Out government in action. Ignore facts and feed on fear, turn different segments of the population against each other! Sound familiar, Obama's support of the "99 percenters and going after the top 1-2% for more taxes that would do virtually nothing to reduce the deficits. Fuels class warfare and makes the poor and middle class "think" he is looking out for them while he grows the national debt to unimaginable levels, bankrupting the country.

Went to WalMart today with my wife for grocery shopping. I usually go to Sporting Goods section and pick up a couple of boxes of ammo each trip but today the shelves were nearly bare. I asked the clerk why they were so short and he said they just couldn't get any more. They keep ordering but can't get much in. I wonder why?

I went to Fleet Farm today and they did not have as much ammo on their shelf as they normally do. I did not ask why because I think I already know. I do not believe it is because they are not ordering or restocking.

I repaired, serviced and rebuilt industrial machine tools. I have rebuilt around 100 punch presses for Federal Cartridge. I remember back in the early 80's there was a run on ammo. Federal Cartridge was running full steam and installing new production lines to try to keep up with the demand. They still could not keep up. Later the run stopped and then Federal had no orders because everyone had all the ammo they wanted so for close to 2 years they were running pretty lean. It did pick up later but they had to tighten their belt for a while. So that is what I believe is going on now. People are buying ammo and stocking up because they fear what our "wonderful and caring" elected officials will do. With our elected officials track record, that fear is justified. I hope and pray that we still have many elected officials who have not drank the kool-ade yet. I have contacted my Senators and Rep but they are all Liberals and do whatever obummer, Pelosi and Reid want. They are bobble-head dolls and ALWAYS say yes to whatever the 3 stooges want!!!!
