Obama Busted in What May Be the Crime of the Century…

I think it stands to reason that if Obama did something that really could successfully impeach him, the GOP would actually be talking about it, as opposed to just the wailing internet masses.

The GOP took any talk of impeachment off the table long ago. There fear of being labeled racist is much greater then any crime Obama could ever commit. With the likely hood of impeachment off the table Obama is free to do as he sees fit. This would be like telling John Gotti his crime family will not be investigated for any crime that might lead to criminal charges. It's good to be the king.

Yeah... I'm not really seeing the GOP fearing dressing the Obama's down very much. I'd more say they do it with mucho gusto at any opportunity. Elected officials have their careers to worry about, so they can't accommodate every single crazy internet theory... but they definitely hit on things that have been somewhat corroborated. If Obama could be impeached, he would be.

We've only got 24 months to go with this dip $h!t. Impeachment proceedings move at a snail's pace. He'd be out of office before they could get it done, if they could get it done. It's better to just wait the bastard out. Besides, now with Republican's controlling both Houses, his wings are clipped shorter than they've ever been. Nothing to be gained by any of this. It's all cheap barber shop talk.

The HARD Left over the years has mastered control of most of the media. ALL that is needed as we've seen in the recent past is for the propagandist to scream RACIST!!!!! Most media will report this story which incites donations defending against racism verses anti-American actions directly against the COTUS. This has been perfected to a very fine art. It's taken years but we have been over thrown without one shot being fired.

A lot of talk and no facts. That really has been the pattern from the right. A lot of accusations followed by investigations, led by Republicans, which then turn out to prove it was all smoke and no fire. How many Benghazi investigations were there? Eight? And what did they come up with?

"BY KEN DILANIAN, ASSOCIATED PRESS November 21, 2014 at 6:22 PM EST
WASHINGTON — A two-year investigation by the Republican-controlled House Intelligence Committee has found that the CIA and the military acted properly in responding to the 2012 attack on a U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, and asserted no wrongdoing by Obama administration appointees.

Debunking a series of persistent allegations hinting at dark conspiracies, the investigation of the politically charged incident determined that there was no intelligence failure, no delay in sending a CIA rescue team, no missed opportunity for a military rescue, and no evidence the CIA was covertly shipping arms from Libya to Syria."

When Bush took office the unemployment rate was 4.2%, when he left office it was 7.8%. Under Obama it's currently 5.6% and dropping.

In Bush's last 12 months in office more than 4 million Americans lost their jobs, 2.2 million in just the last 3 months. So far under Obama we've gained 11 million jobs.

According to the US Bureau of Economic Analysis in Bush's last quarter as president the GDP was NEGATIVE 8.2%. In the most recent quarter under Obama it's POSITIVE 5%. Bush left us with the worst financial crisis since the great depression. The US lost 30% of it's wealth.

When Bush took office the stock market was over 10,400, when he left office it was 8,279, a 26% LOSS over 8 years!! Under Obama the Dow Jones has set records over 18,000 and is currently at 17,500. A 211% INCREASE in 6 years. If you have a 401k, stocks or a mutual fund, what return would you prefer?

Bush doubled the debt, under Obama the rate of deficit growth is the slowest since WWII.

When Obama took office the deficit was $1.2 Trillion, today it's 486 Billion. He's cut it 60%.

While 10 million more Americans now have healthcare, resulting in thousands of people who would have died due to lack of care will now live, and yet the cost of healthcare under Obama is rising at the lowest rate in 50 years.

And BTW Harvard did a study and in the Red States that refused to expand medicare under Obamacare, which wouldn't cost the state anything, more than 11,000 people will die EVERY YEAR from lack of medical care they could have gotten if those states had accepted medicaid expansion. 11,000 people dying needlessly, that's a greater loss of life than 9/11 and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan combined. 11,000 every year. Tell me how much you love America when you're ok with 11,000 Americans dying because they can't afford a doctor and their governor refused to provide them with healthcare at no cost to that state.

3000 Americans died from terrorism while Bush was president, 17 under Obama. And let's not forget about those nonexistent WMD's that Bush and Cheney swore were in Iraq and had us go to war to find, it cost us 4000 American lives and $2 Trillion.

Facts not Fiction.

Wow, this has turned into a Democrat vs. Republican slamfest with massaged and manipulated statistics presented as empirical evidence to bolster the Democratic party.

I'm not saying the Republicans haven't used such manipulated statistics to bolster their party as well.

Both parties manipulate statistics by including numbers that distort and glorify each others' resumes from dubious origins, as they are rushed to the presses.

It's laughable that sources from these manufactured statistical absolutes are quoted, as both parties cherry pick their magic numbers from the government witches' brew of rubber stamped political statistics.

Both parties are guilty taking numbers from their own stacked, "wheel of fortune".

Both parties profess fiction, not fact, to advance their own agendas, and those agendas are apparent (and if not, should be) to even politically naive citizens.

Both parties' rush to become the fox in charge of others' hen houses is apparent, and a necessary sideshow, as if one party or the other is going to save America at the ballot box.

The worldwide ivory tower elitists are laughing and mocking both parties' obsession with themselves, as the backroom cloak-and-dagger politics remain unabated.

Matters not where "statistics" were dredged-up from the bottom of both parties' waste management pools. It all smells, and looks exactly the same, regardless of party affiliation.

It's not going to make a damned bit of difference which party occupies the White House. The future of America has already been decided by forces far removed from our pathetic political game playing.

This, "It's your fault, no, it's your fault" political blame game has become tiresome lately, and totally irrelevant.

The numbers I posted were the actual numbers used by both parties, they are fact, not interpretation. They are numbers compiled by the non partisan Congressional Budget Office, the US bureau of Labor Statistics and the US Treasury and by law have to be impartial and accurate. They are the basis for budget approvals, they are the basis for all decisions regarding the US economy.

AACX22, It's funny that they bring up race as a reason why Obama "gets away" with things, but can't quite realize how racist that sounds. Yet when you look at the economic performance under Obama, even Forbes had to admit he's done a better job than Reagan.
I wonder if rather he's not getting away with it, but is instead not getting credit for a great job because he's black. Just look at the pie in the sky that the 2012 Republican candidates were promising in order to get elected. They thought these were impressive goals:

Romney promised when he ran for office in 2012, that he'd have unemployment down to 6% by the end of 2016. Well by the end of 2014 Obama had it down to 5.6%, and the FED estimates it should be 5.3% in 2015. Where's Obama's pat on the back for that?
Romney vows to lower unemployment rate to 6 percent by end of first term | TheHill

Tim Pawlenty said in 2011 that if we elected him he'd have the GDP up to 5%. Well Obama did that already.
http://popist.com/s/5ea30c5/

Newt Gingrich said in 2012 that he'd have gasoline at $2.50 a gallon, well according to the AAA it's currently $2.05 a gallon.
Newt Gingrich's $2.50 gas promise - Feb. 24, 2012

Gingrich also said that Obamacare was a "Slippery slope to euthanasia". Well the only people in the government actively killing Americans, at least according to a Harvard Study, are the Republican governors who refused to expand Medicaid under the ACA. The study states,"We estimate the number of deaths attributable to the lack of Medicaid expansion in opt-out states at between 7,115 and 17,104." and " Medicaid expansion in opt-out states would have resulted in 712,037 fewer persons screening positive for depression and 240,700 fewer individuals suffering catastrophic medical expenditures. Medicaid expansion in these states would have resulted in 422,553 more diabetics receiving medication for their illness, 195,492 more mammograms among women age 50-64 years and 443,677 more pap smears among women age 21-64. Expansion would have resulted in an additional 658,888 women in need of mammograms gaining insurance, as well as 3.1 million women who should receive regular pap smears."

Opting Out Of Medicaid Expansion: The Health And Financial Impacts ? Health Affairs Blog

Gosh, what's a black guy have to do to impress anyone? Save us from a depression? Lower the deficit? Create 11 million jobs? Save American lives by giving people health insurance?

I don't usually post in threads, but I am so tired of these fake scandals which distract us from dealing with real issues so I felt compelled to add something to the discussion.

I have done my work, using factual, reputable, non partisan sources. I was curious to see if anyone actually had real evidence related to impeaching or any illegal actions on the part of Obama, I am not surprised that none have been posted.

The criticism of Obama was that:
1) he was going to take all the guns away, which of course did not happen and gun sales have hit record levels much to the profit of those most loudly exclaiming this criticism.

2) The ACA would make health care costs go up, would cause unemployment to rise, the economy to falter, raise the deficit and create death panels.
Yet according to the Congressional Budget Office, the FED and independent research by Kaiser Family Health, healthcare costs under Obama are rising at the slowest rate in more than a decade, the deficit will be lower because of the ACA, coincidentally unemployment has dropped significantly, the GDP is at a 10 year high, 10 million more Americans now have healthcare, the bankruptcy rate has dropped, people can't be denied health insurance because of existing conditions and kids can be covered until 26 under their parent's policies. Many thousands of people who would have died due to lack of health care will now live. Seriously is anything in there bad for America?

3) Obama would wreck the economy was the big criticism.
When he took office the stock market was around 8000, now it's been 17500-18000.
The GDP was Negative 8% now it's positive 5%
We were losing as many as 800,000 jobs a month under Bush, but under Obama we've had 58 straight months of job growth
In Bush's last 3 months in office we lost 2.1 million jobs, under Obama we've added more than 11 million
According to the CBO the day Obama took the oath, the annual deficit was $1.2 Trillion, it's now $458 billion, the largest drop in the deficit as a % of GDP since WWII
The unemployment rate was 7.6%, it's now 5.6% and the FED expects it to drop to 5.3% in the next year.
Oil hit a high of $147 a barrel under Bush, today it's under $47, if you take inflation into account it's actually $110 a barrel cheaper
The US was an energy importer, now it's an energy exporter.

4) Obama was becoming an "imperial" president because of his use of executive orders.

Average executive orders per year by president:
Obama 33
Bush (43) 36
Clinton 46
Bush (41) 42
Reagan 48
Carter 80
Ford 69
Nixon 62
Johnson 63
Kennedy 75
Eisenhower 61
Truman 117
Roosevelt 307
Hoover 242
Coolidge 215
Harding 217
Wilson 225

You have to go back to Grover Cleveland in 1897 to find a president who has used less executive orders than Obama

I don't agree with everything Obama does, but the numbers don't lie. As someone who has had a business for 40 years and who follows the economy and economic trends closely, it's been a remarkable recovery, most of Europe for their part is still teetering on the edge of recessions.

So seriously, what has he done that is so horrible and worthy of hatred?

Only if you count people with Masters Degrees working at Denny's and Jiffy Lube.

Or the fact that 1 0bama job may only equal a .75 FTE job. A fact born out in that if 11 million jobs were created, why is unemployment at 8.7 million when in 2008 it was 6.7 million.

Don't really care if it's a white dude or a one eyed, one leg Aleut with lesbian tendencies. Main Stream Media has gone from reporting what happened to what they think will get more readership and market share. Aligned with liberal editors and owners, they manipulate a story to ensure it will push the agenda of liberals and demonize conservatives. Instead of being a check to the government reporting facts, they have aided in the promulgation of the socialist agenda.
We used to be proud of our Freedom of the Press. NOW, and for a long while, they have the freedom to press this great society into a mind set through their propaganda of half truths and dis-information.
