I can't understand why this still leaves me without hope.
Maybe it's because Cuomo can make claims that "70% of New Yorkers support this law but the 30% that don't make the most noise", and isn't challenged to support that claim. ( Yes, I wrote to him about it - big deal)
Plus, when legislators threatened to not fund the new law, effectively muting it, Cuomo shot back, "Then why did you pass it?". Good question, no? Why did they pass it? Who were they representing?
And why should Cuomo care? Our only hope is for the courts to overturn it the way they did with Mayor Doucheberg's soda law.
