Anyone heard about this yet? As a NY'r I am well aware that you cannot own or carry a handgun in legally in NYC, but this seems like more of Bloomberg's extreme ways to violate the constitution, implement his tyrannical personal beliefs and make NYC a communist city.
"As part of its ongoing effort to keep New York City safe, the NYPD has begun testing a new scanning device capable of detecting concealed firearms from a distance of about 16 feet."
Then there is the very last line:
"This is a lot different than nuclear radiation or X-rays," he said. "It doesn't really cause any damage."
