NYC CCW Lawyers

Hi all,

Out of curiosity (I have a little cash burning a hole in my pocket right now), does anyone know of a reputable lawyer in NYC that could help with obtaining some form of CCW. Two questions on that... What does it usually cost? Are we talking 5k to 10k? Or 25k? AND if I'm awarded the CCW, what is the likelihood that it will be renewed (provided I don't do anything to screw it up).

Also, do these guys work on a contingency basis, or is it all per hour?

These guys been around a long time, but NYC does not issue personal CCW, they only issue "Business Carry" and you will need tons and tons of documentation about business, receipts, and bank deposits. Just to name a few. If you are carrying a large amount of cash to the bank, they may issue you a "limited carry" permit only valid on certain times of the day.

You people want to come to the state of New York City where you are NOT allowed to defend yourself, your family or your loved ones. Are you stupid? One LEO told me that it might be your time and your families time to go. I asked the LEO about a family that has young kids. His answer was too bad, the law says you cannot use a gun. He also said then it must be their time to go also. There you have the mentality of new York City and basically the whole state.

You got it!! The mentality of New York City is totally screwed-up and they are used to being victims. They will ignore screams and cries for help, with that "I don't want to get involve attitude" New Yorkers are scared to say "hello" to a stranger or even look them in the eye on the bus or subway, because they feel everyone is CRAZY! Nobody helps each other and everyone is for themselves, what a way to live:hang3:

To the op(if he's still around), business carry is usually issued as a limited permit, which will only allow you to carry to and from the bank on certain days and on certain hours, like 11:00am - 3:00pm, that's it.
