The statements made by the "powers that be" in this video are typical statements by leftist bureaucrats. They immediately take up the posture that, "it's not my fault, I'm only telling you what 'they' said." or "We can't answer that question... it's too direct."
At the time of this video, the debate time was over. The decision has already been made. The legislature of the State of New York has violated their oath to support and defend the Constitution, and as such they have taken the action necessary to become traitors to the people... which means the communists passed the law, and their takeover of New York is politically complete.
Cuomo's law is the test case for the disarming of America. Debate is over. The next step is action. First, the action of the law taking effect.
And then, either the gun owners identified in the law will register their guns according to the law, which is the action of cowardice... or they will decide to live free and ignore the law and become criminals in the eyes of the law.
Then the war will start because that, ladies and gentlemen, is the beginning action of the formation of an underground resistance that will make the French Resistance movement of World War II pale in comparison. Because it will spread across America like wildfire, bringing into being pockets of resistance that will drive O'fool and his minions crazy.
All of law enforcement will have to make a decision to either comply with the unconstitutional law, or adhere to their oath to support and defend the Constitution. If they comply with the unconstitutional law, they will become cowards and a part of the enemy within.
If law enforcement makes the decision that they will not enforce the unconstitutional law, they themselves will become criminals in the eyes of the law, and will essentially become a part of the resistance.
People in the military services will have to make the decision to either follow illegal orders of the president, or stand firm in their oath to protect and defend the Constitution. Those who continue to stand firm in their oath will then become criminals in the eyes of the law, and will also become a part of the resistance.
Those of the military who will follow the illegal orders will then become cowards and a part of the enemy within. They, and Obama's "brown shirts", the Department of Homeland Defense troops will be the only people that he can really depend on for sure. And I may be wrong, but I think they will tuck tails and run when the going gets rough. America's resistance will be full of hardened combat veterans, and so far, these punks have only played war... they haven't lived it.
Then there will be the foreign troops that are already on America's soil... the United Nations troops, the foreign troops that are being trained by our military... and the underground Muslim scum that have already infiltrated our cities. They will be the enemy within.
What I'm talking about is not some sort of glorified, feel-good movie script where the cavalry rides in with their yellow ribbons around their necks and saves the day. What I'm talking about will begin with just the disappearance of a few of the more outspoken Americans. Someday, you'll wake up, and someone who you've known that was outspoken will be gone. There will be talk of conspiracies and such... There will be talk of night raids in your town... and all of this will be pooh-poohed by the media and progressive communists, and the families of those who disappeared will be discounted as radical imbeciles.
And then it will escalate.
What I'm talking about is going to be the bloodiest war in the history of America. It will be a war where right is against wrong, and it will be bloody. Many people will die horrible deaths, and there is nothing you can do about it. There will be fighting in the streets of America. And if it isn't in your town one day, it will be in another. It makes no difference if you want to be a part of it or not. You live in America, and therefore you will be a part of it. You don't have a choice in that.
The only matter that you will have the choice in is this: You will have to make the choice to live free... or die. Not how or when... but either, or.
