Can anyone confirm this is true? I would hate to spam some random guys in-box.

(also - first post here, be kind!)

I just called the office of Mr Tresmond and they have enough people to begin the class action suit. In fact, their office received over 4000 calls since this posted and noted that it is now counter productive to field calls now that they can move forward. Stop calling and no need to email. Please pass it on to any forums you/we may be affiliated with. Good luck Mr Tresmond.

The Lawyer Jim Tresmond will be speaking at the SCOPE Erie County Chapter meeting tonite.
I will give a report tomorrow.
Meanwhile I jsut got this from NYSPRA

NYSRPA, in co-operation with the NRA, are having the Cuomo law reviewed by a highly qualified legal team. We ask that no other 3rd party legal action be taken without prior consultation. We realize that this law impacts a large number of people, but a proper legal review will take some time. Please do not call or e-mail the office or directors. If/when there is an announcement on this issue, it will be published on our website. Thank you for your understanding.

Where were they 2 weeks ago? The NRA rep flew into Albany on Monday 12 hours before the vote. Now they are taking over?

First of all the SAF is looking into this - the Buffalo Atty - etc
Sounds a little arrogant to me.

Mr Tresmond came to the meeting as promised. He and others are working together pro bono. He was offered money at the meeting and refused. He stated that if he took any money then it could be said he was representing the industry or special interest groups. As it is he and other lawyers are doing this because it is just wrong on so many levels.
He did say that he can use our (gun owners) support by keeping up the pressure on legislators both in Albany and Washington.

We also learned at the meeting that the Buffalo News and others are calling Fire Departments asking "HOW CAN YOU HOST GUN SHOWS IN FIRE HALLS AFTER THE SHOOTING OF FIREMEN"
This is an example of making news rather than reporting news.

If anyone has a subscription to the Buffalo News Cancel it on Wednesday Jan 23rd. (wouldn't it be great of 30,000 people or more told them to shove it in one day.) Everyone start calling to cancel at 1:00pm
Right now the future of Gun Shows anywhere is uncertain.

Saturday is a National Gun Rights Day!

There are rallies planned all over the state.
As President Barack Hussein Obama said. "The time has come to get off the couch, kick off the slippers, put your marchin shoes on and hit the streets." His teleprompter not mine.

You can stay home do nothing which is how we got into this predicament in the first place.
