I hope they're right, but I am deeply concerned. I think your individual perspective depends on where you live and the people you know, so I very much hope this analysis is accurate. I live in California and the majority of my family is liberal, so the message I keep getting from them is what the liberal media tells them to think. There doesn't seem to be any middle ground and most of the anti-gun people have already made up their minds and don't want to hear the facts.

Obama has the bulk of the media in this country in his camp and they are brainwashing the general public. If we manage to make it through this without losing some of our rights I will be surprised.

The first reason they quoted those people in the first part of the info-graphic is because they were highlighting the people that are showing some sort of conflict of interest. All of them are either gun owners, hunters, etc. but they still feel like there is a need for some type of gun control.
The other reason, which it says right above all that, is that all the people that should be on our side, Republicans, are keeping their mouths shut about the topic.
Most Republicans are standing on the sidelines while allowing the NRA to take the lead, except that fat **** Christie and he's on the wrong side.
The point of it all is that while there seem to be more influential people on the pro-gun control issue the pro-2nd amendment people are better focused, together on the issues and stick to it when the pro-gun control people fall apart, aren't together and/or give up.
Pay attention.

I hope that it's true. But my wife and I went out this evening to get something to eat and while we were waiting to be seated I picked up the local little free paper. The front page had a picture and a story about people wanting a gun ban. There were only 7 people in the picture. The story was how much they wanted more gun control but these people did not know anything about guns. They ALL emotion about guns. So even if we are winning we can NOT afford to sit back. We MUST do as the lib-o-rats do and double down on our efforts to stop the anti-gun nuts!!!

Zero & Co. might lose this time around (I hope), but rest assured that they'll be there to shamelessly exploit the next tragedy to push their agenda (they live by Rahm Emanuel's creedo of "not letting a good crisis go to waste") who of crapping on the Constitution.

Keep writing and calling your elected officials- remind 'em that '14 ain't too far off and that you'll be remembering who did what and will be voting accordingly.

A handful of posters agree with you and me, and some made great posts in reply to the OP too. Doesn't matter. It's like the Republicans. You can't be a "legitimate" conservative if you refuse to vote for and/or vocally support the Republican candidate, no matter how far he may deviate from conservative principles. Likewise, you can't be a "legitimate" 2nd Amendment or Constitution supporter unless you give up your hard-earned money to the one private organization that has done more than any other to institute restrictive gun controls.

I don't know anything about any 500,000 bandied about in some ramblings somewhere. Yea, the NWO is distressing, I'm sure that's why people neglect to talk about it, and I'm also sure that not talking about it is one of the main reasons that it's imminent. The NWO/OWG and everything that is directly connected to it perfectly coincide, including the timeline, with God's prophetic word pertaining to this "Last Generation" that people are very afraid to talk about. r1derbike, the last thing that anyone should be concerned about is Israel, especially any nuclear warhead from Iran. Israel is definitely on the verge of war and will suffer heavy casualties in the very near future (Psalm 83-Isaiah 17), however, Israel will never be defeated or cease to exist, we have God's word on it. The war of Psalm 83-Isaiah 17 will set the stage for the following war of Ezekiel 38-39. If there's to be any nuclear conflagration of the entire planet it will for sure manifest itself in the war of Ezekiel 38-39. I don't want to give a Bible study or sermon here, my point from the beginning is that you and your family don't have to be here to experience what God says is going to "wax worse & worse". My prayer is that you will believe God and join in the "great escape". It's really that simple.

I don't profess to know bible prophecy, although my freshman year in college I took a theology class from a professor, whose take was basically read it all, ingest and review, and come away with your own vision, given what is in front of you.

I am a christian and am I correct in assuming the escape you are referring to as the rapture?

It has been 40 years since I attended that class, and day-to-day living has injected more stress into my family's lives than my protestant faith has been able to soothe, because I/we have not given of ourselves enough to receive it.

If the world ended tomorrow, I would have faith that our lives would not have been lived in vain. I, and I know my family would be at peace, because we got to experience life.

I really don't know what else to say, other than I have no control over world events, but must be at the mercy of power far greater than I.
