NRA Shirt

What's up with these schools and everyone gun-phobic? You can't point your finger? No 'imaginary' guns?

How about the girl (Bullwinkle) in Kalifornia that wore the NRA shirt her father gave her? The school official forced her to take it off because it promoted gun violence?
Q. How does a shirt with a buck, American Flag, and a silhouette of a hunter with a gun (oooh, scary) promote 'gun violence'???
A. It doesn't. And threatened with a lawsuit by the NRA, the school apologized.

BTW, the school's mascot is a Native American and the drill team uses 'fake' rifles. Duh.

Anyone here been discriminated because you or your family exercise their 2nd Amendment Rights?

Public school interference with shirts based on what they say and/or depict is a potential 1st amendment, not 2nd amendment issue.

I personally have never seen anything even remotely this stupid in the schools that I have worked in.

The2ndPatriot, the term is hoplophobic, and one that is scared of them is a hoplophobe. It was coined in 1962 by firearms authority and writer Jeff Cooper. Figured, you'd be using this term again in future posts.
