It's about time that the NRA start putting forth their (our) perspective more aggressively. The show was done quite well (there'll always be a few technical errors) and presented logical arguments against the 2A issues of the day- it'll drive the Left crazy, all that logic.
I was sleeping during the first showing, and only caught the first 10 or 15 minutes on the rerun before I had to leave for work. In the first segment of the LaPierre interview, I heard nothing that sounded like a strategy or a plan of any kind. I heard him say something to the effect of, "It's time for gun owners to take a stand, and we want them to know we're standing with them." Not a direct quote, just going from memory, but it was something like that.
So, did Mr. LaPierre say anything about what the NRA has in mind for leading a fight against 2nd Amendment encroachments? Or was "all that logic" the only weapon he plans on using against this Leviathan of an oligarchy? I mean, to me, driving the lefties crazy with logic would be going backwards at this point, so far-progressed is their insanity already.
I sure hope the subsequent segment(s) besides the one I saw/heard had more substance than what I did see and hear. And I also sure hope all the gun owners watching, whether from this gun site or any other, are honest enough with themselves to admit that LaPierre lacked substantive plans, if indeed, he did. If he had 'em though, I sure would like to hear about it, because I'm as tired of hearing the nothingness that comes out of Faux News and the NRA as I can be.
