Does the Florida NRA basic pistol course certificate have an expiration,how long is it accepted by the state of Florida when applying for a Florida concealed weapons permit?

To my Knowledge the NRA Basic Pistol Course Certificate does not have an Expiration date.

I'm an NRA Instructor, in Florida -- and I don't recall ever hearing of an expiration date. When you've been trained, you have been trained as far as I know.

Florida does not have time limitations on training.

I called a few years ago and was told, 6 months was the "time frame" they would take. Contact them directly to find out. (Off topic a bit, but parts of NY and CT have a 6 month time frame as well). I will be contacting them myself since I have been telling my students 6 months.

Check the Florida statutes. There is no time limitations on training. I used a certificate that was over ten years old.
