The "Occupy Wall Street" protesters have listed 13 proposed demands from their website.

Well now you know what the Entitlement Programs our Founders warned us about staying away from has created. Socialism, Marxism, Communism, Progressivism.

Demand one: Restoration of the living wage. This demand can only be met by ending "Freetrade" by re-imposing trade tariffs on all imported goods entering the American market to level the playing field for domestic family farming and domestic manufacturing as most nations that are dumping cheap products onto the American market have radical wage and environmental regulation advantages. Another policy that must be instituted is raise the minimum wage to twenty dollars an hr.

Demand two: Institute a universal single payer healthcare system. To do this all private insurers must be banned from the healthcare market as their only effect on the health of patients is to take money away from doctors, nurses and hospitals preventing them from doing their jobs and hand that money to wall st. investors.

Demand three: Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment.

Demand four: Free college education.

Demand five: Begin a fast track process to bring the fossil fuel economy to an end while at the same bringing the alternative energy economy up to energy demand.

Demand six: One trillion dollars in infrastructure (Water, Sewer, Rail, Roads and Bridges and Electrical Grid) spending now.

Demand seven: One trillion dollars in ecological restoration planting forests, reestablishing wetlands and the natural flow of river systems and decommissioning of all of America's nuclear power plants.

Demand eight: Racial and gender equal rights amendment.

Demand nine: Open borders migration. anyone can travel anywhere to work and live.

Demand ten: Bring American elections up to international standards of a paper ballot precinct counted and recounted in front of an independent and party observers system.

Demand eleven: Immediate across the board debt forgiveness for all. Debt forgiveness of sovereign debt, commercial loans, home mortgages, home equity loans, credit card debt, student loans and personal loans now! All debt must be stricken from the "Books." World Bank Loans to all Nations, Bank to Bank Debt and all Bonds and Margin Call Debt in the stock market including all Derivatives or Credit Default Swaps, all 65 trillion dollars of them must also be stricken from the "Books." And I don't mean debt that is in default, I mean all debt on the entire planet period.

Demand twelve: Outlaw all credit reporting agencies.

Demand thirteen: Allow all workers to sign a ballot at any time during a union organizing campaign or at any time that represents their yeah or nay to having a union represent them in collective bargaining or to form a union.

What a bunch of Dopes, Please don't let them have a Gun.

I had two paragraphs and counting detailing how such antics would bankrupt the country and place our heads on a platter for the jihadists. ...I deleted it all 'cause it is all so obvious that even the drooling 10-thumb lib's here understand it.

These people are mindless idiots. Their "demands" are so contradictory....filled with cause-and-effect that will negate each other. What a bunch of blithering leftover hippies. I feel tainted and dirty just by reading their drivel. Seriously, I'm going to take a couple of my assault rifles to the range and blow off a couple hundred rounds just so I can feel cleansed of their stinky Marxist rhetoric. Icky!!

link to proposed demands

Can you please provide a link to the "proposed demands", I can not seem to find them on their website.

Thanks

proposed demands

Ok, I found the link http://occupywallst.org/forum/proposed-list-of-demands-for-occupy-wall-st-moveme/ and the proposal is just 1 guys post in 1 of their forums on what he thinks their demands should be. It is not the groups proposed demands. Most of the responses to the guys proposal rip him apart and point out how bad his proposal is.

Now I think the whole "Occupy Wall Street" thing is stupid and misguided. I do not think it is accurate or appropriate to imply that 1 persons proposal on 1 of their forums is what the groups "Proposal of Demands" is.

It comes across as being vert misleading.

They're missing the most important component of any business proposal... $$$$$

Who pays for all of this?

Demand one: Restoration of the living wage? A "living wage" of $20 per hour is acheived by getting an education and putting one's nose to the grindstone.

Demand two: Ban private insurers from the healthcare market? Banning private insurers violated free trade, is bad for the economy and would cause massive corporate layoffs in the insurance industry.

Demand three: Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment? So why bother to work anymore?

Demand four: Free college education. I'll agree. These protestors aren't showing much intelligence.

Demand eight: Racial and gender equal rights amendment. This is already a law (Civil Rights Act of 1964), thus the need for free education for all these twits.

Demand nine: Open borders migration. anyone can travel anywhere to work and live. (or to steal, get free healthcare, entitlements and a gauranteed $20 per hour without working)

Demand eleven: Immediate across the board debt forgiveness for all. So they want to borrow my money and stiff me. I'm supoosed to give them a pass?

From watching coverage of the protest on RT News over the last couple weeks the only issue the protesters all agree on is Wall Street, the Banking industry, and our government are all corrupt to the core.

These communist indoctrinated punks are being paid. democrats, move on, labor unions leaders, which ever it my be are giving lessens on community oganizing. After a couple weeks with out a shower they must be smelling pretty ripe. Unless they are going to the local mickey D's and taking a French bath. Who's bathroom facilities are they trashing? who is paying for their food? Why do all these wackos find a home in the D party? Maybe our fried Mr. Ed knows. I think Al Sharpton the extrotionist needs to get in on this one, I didn't see one black punk. Amazing Grace.

As opposed to other dopes...Talk about lack of insight. So the 2A is not absolute. How illuminating!

Oh, holy cow...

Yet another movement taken over by nutjobs. When it was a simple "protesting Wall Street screwing most people in the name of profits for a few," I was at least mildly supportive.

But this list? At least the person that submitted it is an idiot.

One thing to note (I decided to go find it,) is that this list of demands isn't "an official statement of the movement", it's a post by a single person on their forums. And judging by the replies, even the majority of people who support the "Occupy Wall St." movement think the guy who posted it is loony.

It's no more an "official statement" of the group as a whole (which isn't really an organized group, so I would take "official statements" from them with a grain of salt,) than one post on here suggesting we give free automatic weapons to all felons would be an "official statement of the gun-carrying community".

Are there nutjobs in this movement? Absolutely. I expect to see more than a few ruining my commute home tomorrow as the "Occupy Portland" movement starts. Anytime there's a protest in Portland, it always starts out with the "serious protesters", then about half an hour later the "protest for the sake of protest" anarchists show up and cause problems, and make the serious protesters look stupid, because it's always the anarchists that end up on TV. "Why are you protesting?" "I'm protesting the man!" "But why?" "Because the system's broken, man!" "But what exactly are you protesting right now?" "Uh...... EFF THE POLICE!" These numbnuts even showed up at the Tea Party tax day protest. (And, as should be semi-expected in Portland, eventually outnumbered the serious protesters...)

If they had guns, they would most likely be a danger to each other. They've already shot themselves in the foot by making these kinds of demands. And we can be sure that if they had the power, they would demand all firearms be turned in. But---as long as we have our firearms, they can't get that power. Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition.

Now the Unions has lent their muscle to the long-running protest against Wall Street and economic inequality Wednesday, fueling speculation about how long the camp-out in lower Manhattan - and related demonstrations around the country - will continue.

"The great thing about Occupy Wall Street is that they have brought the focus of the entire country on the middle class majority," said George Aldro, 62, a member of Local 2325 of the United Auto Workers, as he carried the union's blue flag over his shoulder through lower Manhattan.

I guess he is right it has taken the focus off of the all the bailouts and paybacks the Unions have been receiving from this failed administration. It also may take the focus off of all the new regulations that continue to put a damper on any type of economic growth that could offer any change of creating new jobs..

Did you know that Bill Clinton and George Bush issued a total of 57 executive orders in the combined 16 years in office? President Obama is in the high 80s already.

We are now up to 64 CZARS., we have two Economic czars, Paul Volcker and Larry summers, and I wonder what our Stimulus Accountability Czar Earl Devaney is doing?
I expect our Weapons Czar Aston Carter is working with the Injustice Department to ship more guns into Mexico so they add a few more regulations on our gun dealers, or if it really works out for them it could be an excuse to turn the whole mess over to the new world order and have them confiscate all guns in America, just for our own safety.

I had better watch what I am saying because I’m not sure which Czar will come after me, The Anti-Semitism Czar, Hannah Rosenthal, or the Internet Czar, Suzan Crawford.

You can either call Al Sharpton or Re-Elect Oboma.

Thousands of teachers, social workers, union members and more took part in a march Thursday against the Wall Street bankers they blame for the city's budget woes.

Rev. Al Sharp ton, UFT President Michael Mulgrew and an array of city council members and state elected officials laid the blame for the budget cuts squarely on Wall Street's feet.
"Wall Street recovered, hedge funds got stimulated, and now they want to lay off teachers and close day care centers," Sharpton said. "We're going where they sent the money," he said.

Well pretty interesting, Now we have Auto Workers and the Teachers, who got much of the Stimulus Funds along with Al Sharpton the Welfare Pip trying their best to re-focus the blame.

What caused the Economic breakdown?

First, everyone should be allowed to own a home, doesn’t matter if you can’t pay for it.

Looks a lot like some of the demands, I see on the list, no matter who wrote them.

Second, We are giving away free homes and free money all you have to do is buy a free home, go back to the bank and re-finance it for a lot more than it is really worth and than walk away with the extra money.

Blame it on wall street, that the Economy went bust.

Third, If you are an auto worker receiving $56.00 and hour and the Country can no longer afford to buy your cars what should we do?
Maybe we can have the President take the company off the Owners and give it to the workers, and the taxpayers can pay for it, and than we can subsidize the cost of the cars we can’t afford with tax money.

Blame it on wall street.

Forth, If you are a Public Sector Teacher and all your pension plans are going bust because you don’t pay your fair share and your Unions are spending most of their money trying to elect politicians that will keep going along with the scam what are you going to do?

Blame it on wall street.

Fifth, If you are a third generation welfare recipient, and you don’t think you are getting your fair share, and your are only getting free food on the table, a free place to live, all your utilities paid, a free cell phone, and soon if not already free internet service, a free education if you want it, some spending money, and a tax return for your un-earned income.

You can either call Al Sharpton or Re-Elect Oboma.

I don't understand the whole "protest Wall St." thing. Neither Wall Street or the banking industry has screwed me or anyone else I know. Anyone who has invested over the past few years has seen decent investment returns.

I have a few demands of my own...

1. If you can't graduate high school with a "C" average you must do two years in the military.

2. If you don't speak English you must learn it.

3. If you want entitlements you must submit to a drug test.

4. If your children are born in America and can't speak English you will be fined.

5. If millionaires must pay a (socialist) surcharge tax then criminals must pay a perp tax to be used to build more prisons.

6. The border fence will be completed and will carry 50,000 volts. Use of deadly force will be imposed to protect the borders. Attacking a border patrol agent will become a capital offense.

7. Any illegal alien caught TWICE in this country will get to stay for life... in a prison cell.

8. Anyone carrying a gun while committing a crime gets a minimum 20 years, even for shoplifting.

9. Campaign promises will become a contract with the American people. If you you change your position after being elected you are impeached.

From watching coverage of the protest on RT News over the last couple weeks the only issue the protesters all agree on is Wall Street, the Banking industry, and our government are all corrupt to the core.

And that's about how far I agree with THEM. The rest is a lot of unsupportable entitlement crap.
