Northern Hemisphere to Become Uninhabitable?

Not that we don't have enough to worry about in the US, it seems like we also have to worry about being fried with nuclear radiation and debris from Japan. This is an interesting article and, no matter what one thinks of the report, it is definitely something to think about. Of particular note was the mention of having to evacuate the entire country of Japan. You think we have immigration problems now? And when it all gets here, I guess we will all become illegal aliens in the southern hemisphere. Damn, such exciting news every day, huh?

U.S. Army General: The Whole Northern Hemisphere is at Risk of Becoming Largely Uninhabitable :

Stubblevine was USAINSCOM commander when I joined the Army, but retired just before I started AIT. I was in the Army tactical Military Intelligence community for my seven years, and personally saw Army intelligence and communications security suffer greatly due to the destruction that Stubblevine did to the Army intelligence community in his four years as the INSCOM commander. Combined with the drastic measures of the Graham-Rudman Act, Army tactical intelligence capabilities were probably not ready for war during Regan's second term in office. For the next five years Army divisional and corps level MI units were trying to figure out what the hell they were supposed to be doing. He totally changed the mission of the Army's "signal security" people (the only people trying to educate and monitor classified information being exposed on the telephone, radio, computers, and via electronic emissions) which eventually eliminated them from the Army altogether. (today, over 25 years later, there is one individual DA civilian whose mission is US Army signal security of the entire Global War on Terror, he happened to be a classmate of mine)

He was a nutcase that should have never been allowed to advance past the rank of captain. Fortunately, INSCOM involves only the army, and he wasn't able to affect the other services or CIA/DIA/NSA/etc. (of course Jimmy Carter had already done enough damage there) I guess maybe looking at overhead photography (we called guys that did that "squints" from spending countless hours trying to figure out what all of the little tiny stuff is on satellite imagery) burned his brain up.

Which is evidenced by his being the ranking officer of "The Stargate Project", an Army study held near his office at Ft. Meade MD, on parapsychology. He supposedly personally tried to walk thru walls....of course without success.

Today, among other things, he is the most prominent "truther". A listen to the first couple of minutes of this video will show you the kind of guy he is. I wouldn't take anything he says very seriously. (although I actually questioned the same hole in the side of the Pentagon and thought that it could have possibly been a cruise missile...and came to the conclusion that if 9/11 was actually orchestrated, it was done by Al Gore, the only man who actually had something to gain by it.)

The powers that be are always attempting to manufacture some supposed catastrophe to scare us into being subservient to those who take our livelihood to save us from their contrived disaster. Look at the bogus climate change end-of-the-world scenario as one of those. There are many other examples.

Grunt...

I read the article with interest until I hit the name Gen. Albert Stubblebine. I knew the ex general quite well. In the 1990's he worked with a health care orginization called "The Alexandria Institute." I met him there where he was instrumental in helping me overcome a serious head injury. The center did some innovative stuff involving neuro-biofeedback to improve brrain function in those who suffered head injuries, strokes, etc. I met ex-Jets quarterback Boomer Esiason there, he was getting help with multiple concussions. Bert regularly worked with many patients giving pep talks and helping them focus their energy to improve pain management. He was a great guy. The center was founded by Dr. Rima Laibow. After researching her later on I found she was a specialist in UFO abductees  which immediately threw up a red flag for me. I now wonder how much of her care was witchdoctory. Nonetheless, Bert was a great guy and an inspriation and the care I received there helped immensely.

Well, that's the stupidest thing I've heard so far today. But it's still early.

I like how all the reference links in the article loop back to itself (intelhub), other infotainment sites or dead/broken.

I can't believe people actually read this tripe.

Every thing we touch, eat, breath and do is going to destroy humanity. Where does it end? Here's another one to ponder. The leading cause of death in humans is birth. :sarcastic:

The northern hemisphere did not become uninhabitable after 1945 either, although there may have been similar "US Army General says..." style scare tactics. I don't doubt the dangerousness of radiation, but I don't think the northern hemisphere is going down.

kwimby: I think todays's news about radioactive tuna off the west coast lends credence to the idea. You can take off your tinfoil helmet now.

I worked for MG Stubblebine in the early 80's at Arlington Hall. He was a nut case who believed in "remote viewing" and "spoon bending." As a career intelligence officer, I personally believe he did more damage to Army Intelligence than any other leader over the last 50 years. Google "remote viewing" for more information. Low confidence in any predictions he has.

was this guy stubblevine the same moron I read about in "the men who stare at goats"? I read that book out of curiosity and then threw it in the trash. He sounds a lot like the same guy.
***************************
I just googled it and answered my own question. Same guy. People will believe anything if it is ridiculous enough.

this nuclear catastrophe will and already has affected us all not only us but all there is and ever will be
i wish they would close all those plants and break out teslas technology and use it to help not harm mismanage and toxify our mother ship !

The first reports about the environmental impact outside of the 10 mile containment area said that the mighty Pacific Ocean would easily absorb and dilute the radioactive fallout just fine.

If you think about the two A-bombs that were detonated over Japan, and several more at Alamogordo above ground, back in the 1940s, it shows that the Northern Hemisphere has a high capacity to absorb nuclear incidents.

The general is getting old and may just be getting a bit too paranoid as well. I would not call him an expert necessarily.

If there were a total unleashing of all of Russia's, China's, the USA's and the UK's nukes then the Northern Hemisphere would certainly become contaminated, sure.

But this was just a few reactors built too close to each other, too close to the sea, and near a major faultline.
