north carolina to new york carry rights

im a resident of north carolina with my concealed carry of course and I'm in buffalo new york working until december. any body have any information of how i should transport my guns up here legally so i can shoot? i have valid credentials for most states and not looking to carry concealed here. just trying to have my guns to shoot.

Sorry G-34man. you're just screwed for shooting your G-34's. Forget shooting handguns until you come home. Long guns, no problem, put them in a case and carry them in the trunk. Handguns, no way possible. You must have a New York permit and they do not issue to non residents. If you are just coming in to shoot a pistol match you can do it but there's no way to keep handguns at your residence. Bill (Lived in both places and glad I now live in South Carolina)

Throttleup is correct. Don't even bring it up to NY because they are strict on carrying handguns & being out of state. Sorry NY is this way.
