Noah's Ark Discovered!!

A WATCHMAN
Saw this on Drudge Report today. Check it out, they are actually inside of the ark measuring a room. How awesome!

What was believed to be the ark was found in the late 60s or early 70s, but the political clime around its location prevented anyone from examining the find from anywhere except by telescope. Since the find was at least partially encased in ice, telescopic exams were not definitive. Find the book In Search of Noah's Ark by Dave & Charles E. Sellier Balsiger

Yep, the movie left some stuff out. I recommend the book.

The satellite pics were of the presumed ark, caught in the ice. As the ice moves each year, the location of the ark has shifted.

If this is legit it would be great news. Of course even if it is there will be those that refuse to believe it. There are some that would not believe even if they met God face to face and of course there are others that think he got elected president last election.

Except that this is probably it. Link Removed

You can even see this on Google Earth.

The bible said it came to rest in the "Mountains of Ararat.." The logical place is in a basin where water collects.

I don't know what they found underground, but I think it is something else. There is no record of the Ark breaking it's back as it would if it came to rest on a mountain.

It didn't break when it landed. It was said to have broken in half due to the shifting and weight of snow pack over thousands of years.

Thats just the point. it didn't land on the mountain, but in a basin several miles away.

If it landed on the mountain, like all vessels wood and steel, it would have broken it's back!

Look at the wreck from Google Earth: 39 26’23.91” N 44 14’08.71”E. Ground penetrating radar shows decks and other nautical structures.

There it is. A whole petrified wood ship of the correct dimensions. Not a small section of a wood box in a tiny hole.

Too many groups have big $ business tied up with trips to the mountain. I doubt whatever is in that hole is the ark.

Of course, we won't know just what until they dig it out.

There is much debate over the "Wyatt" site and whether or not it is the final resting place of Noah's Ark. You are right, we won't know for sure until further excavation is done. However, if a giant boat like structure has been found at the 14,000ft. level of the "big" mountain,.... WOW!! How would that be explained away??? It would certainly convert a lot of folks but as HK4U said, there will always be those that deny God or Creationism.

A wood sample would be good... It says in the Bible that God instructed Noah to build the Ark out of "Gopher" wood. Some Biblical archeaologists theorize that "gopher" wood came from an extinct species of white oak that grew along the banks of the Euphrates River. Nobody knows for sure the true identity of this so called "gopher" wood. The idea of the wood being from an extinct tree does seem plausible to me. The tree would have grown and thrived in a "pre-flood" era and would have been wiped out during the flood. Testing of a wood sample would at least maybe give us an idea of what they have found.

I guess time will tell if it's a hoax or not.

Has the real Noah's Ark spoken of in the Bible truly been found?

At least two seasoned archaeologists who have made numerous expeditions to Mount Ararat in search of Noah's Ark are throwing cold water on this week's claim the Old Testament vessel has finally been discovered, saying it's a hoax involving wood hauled in from the Black Sea region.

Very well could be planted. In the video clip, it shows the archeologists knocking on some of the wood. Carbon dating is not 100% reliable and if the wood were upwards of 5,000 years old, it would most certainly be petrified. If Noah's Ark is/was located on the the big mountain, it would most certainly be petrified or maybe even have been ground to bits by glaciers.

If it's a fake, just add it to the list. But if it is the Ark, I hope they can find real evidence and shut up all the naysayers.

GOD IS ALIVE AND WELL AND VERY ACTIVE>

+1 That would be fantastic if they could verify it, however, as you know you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink...

Religion easily has the greatest bs story ever told. Think about it, religion has actually convinced people that there's an INVISIBLE MAN...LIVING IN THE SKY...who watches every thing you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a list of ten special things that he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish where he will send to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry for ever and ever 'til the end of time...but he loves you. [George Carlin, from "You Are All Diseased"]

Trillions and trillions of prayers every day asking and begging and pleading for favors. 'Do this' 'Gimme that' 'I want a new car' 'I want a better job'. And most of this praying takes place on Sunday. And I say fine, pray for anything you want. Pray for anything. But...what about the divine plan? Remember that? The divine plan. Long time ago god made a divine plan. Gave it a lot of thought. Decided it was a good plan. Put it into practice. And for billion and billions of years the divine plan has been doing just fine. Now you come along and pray for something. Well, suppose the thing you want isn't in god's divine plan. What do you want him to do? Change his plan? Just for you? Doesn't it seem a little arrogant? It's a divine plan. What's the use of being god if every run-down schmuck with a two dollar prayer book can come along and f up your plan? And here's something else, another problem you might have; suppose your prayers aren't answered. What do you say? 'Well it's god's will. God's will be done.' Fine, but if it gods will and he's going to do whatever he wants to anyway; why the f bother praying in the first place? Seems like a big waste of time to me. Couldn't you just skip the praying part and get right to his will? [George Carlin, from "You Are All Diseased".]

Not saying those with the relgious views are wrong. Do what works for you. These are my views. It works for me.

Yep, those who have absolutely ZERO understanding of God's word, want to tell everyone who does understand God's Word, all about God's Word. Remember Christians, without being filled with God's Holy Spirit, it is IMPOSSIBLE to understand God's Word, for it is the Holy Spirit that reveals all things according to God's Word and His Will. Christ made it crystal clear that if man is not for God, man is against God. There is no gray zone, you're of you're Father God or you're of you're father the devil, period. Satan is the god of this world, the world is at enmity with God. Those that are of their father the devil, do not want to hear the truth, they want only to mock as prophesied, don't play their game. Please remember what our Lord has commanded, for Christ has said..(Matthew 7:6) "Do not give to dogs what is sacred, do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they will trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces". These enemies of the Gospel are unworthy to have it preached onto them! Stop being suckered into a discussion by these mockers, instead be obedient, to the Glory of God. Give an answer to those who are honest in seeking an answer, do not respond to those only seeking to mock.
