Another round of evidence was released Wednesday in the second-degree murder case against George Zimmerman.
The evidence includes a few diagrams from witnesses the defense noticed that were not included in the original evidence.
The results from forensic tests also included within the documents show that Zimmerman's DNA was the only one that could be identified on the grip of the gun used to shoot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
The results rule out Martin's DNA from being on the gun's grip.
Zimmerman's DNA also was identified on the gun's holster. The tests were inconclusive as to whether Martin's DNA was on the gun's holster.

I wonder if these are the same DNA wizards that were so helpful during the Casey Anthony trial..... Prosecutors should really look at DNA evidence about the same as I do when playing an open ended strait when I play Texas Holdem'.... Might hit might not, but most of the time I'm just donating to the pot or somebody elses stack..... Unless there is hair, blood, or tissue it's tough to say the evidence is accurate.....

One question that hasn't been answered for me is 'Why did Zimmerman get out of his car?' The way I understand it the responsibility of neighborhood watch participants is to observe and report. Having a ccp does not give anyone the right to pursue and engage. This whole incident could have been so easily avoided by following the rules.

I believe Zimmerman said that Martin reached for the gun and that's when he grabbed it, pulled it and fired. I'm not sure this evidence or lack thereof proves or disproves anything.

Um... Last I checked you ARE innocent until PROVEN guilty. So YES, for now, I ASSUME he is innocent.
He may be stupid, I'll give you that, but until the verdict of guilt is given I do indeed assume he's innocent.

I have yet to hear of anything that disproves Zimmerman's story, in fact, the only evidence that has been presented supports it. And we all (well, everybody but the three stooges, of course) know the the "unbiased" media would be trumpeting any little bit of "evidence" they could possibly spin, if there was any, to go along with the outright lies they've been "reporting."

Zimmerman was not going to be just fine. That family was never stopping until they got him. They were starting to involve the feds. The incident was far from over.

No one should defend him just as no one should convict him until the entire story comes out. But the media only increased the outrage on what has to be the poster-boy for everything you don't do. This moron wrote the book. And the advice of keeping your mouth shut is still paramount because now all those statements he made locks him into a story. ANd some of those statements may prove to be false. NEVER give the DA a lock on the story.
