In case anyone is interested in making copies and handing them to businesses with "no guns" signs.

Send them to the NBA, the NFL, The MLB, the NHL, and the NCAA too. And please stop watching events put on by those anti-gun businesses.

.........and NASCAR

+1 for this resource, going to have some made up inexpensively through one of the many online biz card services.

You start messing with NASCAR and your messing with religion! lol

NASCAR holds it events in places where firearms are prohibited. No different then any other business that requires you to disarm to do purchase their product or services.

Well. if you are thinking of attending the first 3 races this year, take heed:

Daytona International Speedway: "The following may not enter the admission gates or be left in or around the gate area: Firearms"

Phoenix International Raceway: "Aside from a bad attitude, here are a few more items to leave at home: Firearms"

Las Vegas Motor Speedway, NASCAR Weekend RV, camper rules and guidelines: "Firearms, fireworks, and weapons of any type are not permitted. Violators are subject to arrest."

or the second three NASCAR races this year:

or the next 3:

Bristol Motor Speedway: "To ensure that all fans have a safe and enjoyable visit to Bristol Motor Speedway and Bristol Dragway, the following items will not be permitted inside the gates: Weapons of any kind (regardless of Permit)"

Auto Club Speedway: "The following items may not enter the admission gates: Firearms, weapons of any kind"

Texas Motor Speedway: "Guests are not allowed to bring these items into Texas Motor Speedway - weapons or firearms"

A gun free zone is a gun free zone.

Thank you for bringing those cards up again...I used to have a handful of those laying around the house and I got it out of my bag because I decided not to go to stores that prohibits firearms.

Actually used to work safety for Nascar, it seems they no longer want my money, fine with me can watch TV for free.

We somehow need to quit catering to the fascist left and to me these "No Guns" signs are a form of discrimination and should be taken to the Supreme Court. After all we are people too.

Simple in NC where NASCAR started, "NO Conceal Carry period, anywhere that charges admission, never mind the alcohol"

Edit: read the last addition... Oops...

Well, I'm lucky, the only sport I watch, at my local stadium, allows concealed carry - although not by choice.

The stadium's "Guest Guide" says no weapons, even to concealed holders. However, by Oregon law, they can't prohibit that. Specifically, JELD-WEN Field (formerly PGE Park, formerly Civic Stadium,) is owned by the city of Portland. It is governmentally-owned.

Per ORS 479.168, a "public building" is (emphasis mine):
"Public building" means a building in which persons congregate for civic, political, educational, religious, social or recreational purposes, including among others, state buildings, courthouses, schools, colleges, libraries, museums, exhibit buildings, lecture halls, churches, assembly halls, lodge rooms, dance halls, theaters, skating rinks, bath houses, armories, recreation piers, grandstands and bleachers in exhibition parks or fields, and jails.

(That is the only place in Oregon Revised statutes that specifies what a "public building" is.) Now, that wording even makes it sound specifically like privately-owned facilities listed are included in the "public buildings" definition, but even if we assume it only refers to government-owned, we're good.

But, it might not be a "public building", it might be a "public place", so, ORS 161.015 says (again, emphasis mine):
"Public place" means a place to which the general public has access and includes, but is not limited to, hallways, lobbies and other parts of apartment houses and hotels not constituting rooms or apartments designed for actual residence, and highways, streets, schools, places of amusement, parks, playgrounds and premises used in connection with public passenger transportation.

And ORS 166.173 says that cities and counties may regulate possession of a loaded firearm in public places - but (2)(c) says that those regulations don't apply to CHL holders. And 166.174 says cities/counties can't regulate the possession or sale of firearms in public buildings that are rented or leased.

Edit addition:

And, of course, as soon as I finish that research and write-up, I find this gem: Link Removed:
In sum, ORS 166.170 and ORS 166.173 do not preclude a city from leasing public property to a private party on terms that permit the private party to choose whether to permit persons to carry concealed handguns pursuant to a license to enter onto the leased property or attend an event on the leased property. We therefore affirm the grant of summary judgment in the city's favor on that ground.

Well, there goes my whole theory... I guess it's just a good thing I never got caught!

Thanks , although I will have to disarm myself to hand it to the owner or managers. At least they will wonder if I am carrying in their store while I hand it to them. I think this would be more effective on small business owners in times like these.

Because of all the drunks that are there, I am sure that has nothing to do with it. ;)
