nice DeSantis Holster

A few days ago I posted a thread because I needed to find a comfortable rig for my g27, my daily carry. Anyway, I saw some suggestion and I also went I a few gun stores to see what they happened to have. I decided to go with an OWB holster. I found a DeSantis holster that sits at exactly 6 o'clock. It has the gun inverted so when I reach back, I draw the gun while it is upside down. It looks nice, feels great, and I have yet to find anything I do not like about it.

I k ow that OWB is not ideal, but I needed to feel comfortable, and the gun has to be accessible in an emergency.

I wanted to thank everyone here who contributed their thoughts and experience to my previous thread. I appreciate it.

I have an IWB DeSantis that allows for that kind of draw. The only problem with it is it's an adjustable, so it could be a 6 o'clock upside-down-draw, 3 o'clock straight draw, or 11 o'clock canted draw. Being adjustable, it twists fairly easily compared to the belt clip, so it isn't the most secure. I went with a fixed-clip IWB veritcal draw that I wear at 3 o'clock after it fell out of the 6 o'clock position twice.

Also, don't wear at honest-to-goodness 6 o'clock, wear so that no part of the firearm is touching your spine. You don't want to fall and cause serious back/spine injury. When I wore in 'small of back', I wore at about 5 o'clock so that the muzzle was just off my spine. I do like the small of back, upside-down carry, but haven't found a good holster for it yet.

I have an IWB from this company too, not a big fan of it. I can hear it making noise when I walk, and the leather does not cover the beavertail of my pistol. Makes it a painful ride. I carry at 3:30, it carries better at 4:00 but the butt prints.

I have several desantis holsters for my glocks and my belt is desantis they can be pricey but I like them alot I have a couple belt slide holsters from them and a couple iwb as well
