Next Cliff and Gun Control

As I listen to the spin spewing from the mouths of the talking heads and the White House about the Debt Ceiling issue and creating hysteria in hopes of getting a gun ban, I want to puke.
What you wont hear is:
Obama is demanding the House of Representatives to give up some of their Constitutional Power and gives it to him unconditionally. That is the down right fact of the case but they spin it as something else.
The House of Representatives represents districts of "We the People" and they were given the power of the purse by the Founders. The same Founders that Obama and his Progressive minions detest and hate. It Boehner give that up they might as well dissolve forever.
There is even a group of NY Times liberals that think Obama has the power to take it the way Abraham Lincoln suspended habeas corpus during the Civil War, he said that it was necessary to violate one law, lest all the laws but one fall into ruin.
Seems to me, if you eliminate one Bill of Right (2nd) the others fall into ruin.

Note to House of Representatives. LET THE GOVT SHUT DOWN! If the guberment has to shut down non-essential elements because of the debt, we will be okay! That is why they are labeled non-essential.
This debt ceiling issue just like the Gun Control issue is a Constitutional Battle.
This could be the beginning of the end! (of the Constitution)
Google the "enabling act" Germany!
Demand that the US Government must adapt Zero Based Budgeting!
Every company I have ever worked for uses it.
If you are not prepared start preparing now. This is gonna be big! I am convinced that they (Progressive's) realize that the time is now.
They have to go all in!

Maybe a stupid question, but How much will it cost us to debate the gun control issue while the "real problems" go on the back burner? You know like the budget....

Then how much would it cost in dollars (not human lives) if they do a gun ban or some sort of gun control? Do we have the funding for this, or is China going to gladly offer us an interest free loan since it will mean that they will have less resistance when they decide to invade?

This last "cliff" has made me change my way of thinking. From now on, I will not read a darn thing about any "cliffs". The Republican House consists of some of the stupidest, overly simplistic people I've ever seen. The President is the lousiest excuse for a "leader" that I've seen in my lifetime...including Jimmy Carter.

My guns are loaded, and if you want to come get 'em, let's get it on. I've written my supposed leaders and tried to influence the gun ban stupidity all that I intend. I'm a member of the NRA, and am ready to stick my head in the sand because there is nothing else I can do.

Fiscal Cliffs? Debt Ceiling? Our government no longer wants to govern. What's wrong with that picture? I'm not going to fret over a bunch of overpaid, rich politicians any more. Have a nice day.

Actually, if you listen to everything he has said in the past couple of weeks....you have heard him say this. And he is still saying it.

He already has. He has shown what...three times now...that he will give some token resistance...right before he gives Obama everything he demands.

The problem with that is that when your opponent owns the media, it is YOUR fault. That wouldn't be as much of a problem except that Boehner & Co. worry about what the media says about them. But again...the American public is that stupid.

Again, they have been doing that for a while. This is the final feeding frenzy, and the only hope we have is obstruction by Boehner....which isn't very encouraging now that he has been reelected. At least my representative voted against the "fiscal cliff" bill. Made me proud.

I guess that I have to ask why it took you this long to notice? You obviously were around when the exact same thing was happening while Jimmy Carter was president.

But you do not mention the Congressional Democrats, who made this "a crisis" in the first place, so as to set Obama up for another win. It should not be "a crisis". There never should be "a crisis".

Only when it becomes "a crisis" can they force the other side to do what they want.

They know that Boehner doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to stand his ground. So they hold out until the last minute. But for some reason you didn't mention this.

I think you have things backwards. The government is We the people...not them the Government. they work for you and Me and Everyone in the 50 states.

if you and people like you stick your head in the sand then people that want to step on our constitution, our rights are going to do whatever they want... DO NOT stick your head in the sand and wait for them to knock on your door.
