I'd love to have one to carry in Bear Country...Carry a 6.5 inch 44 S&W now when I hit the woods..

What did she set you back, if you don't mind me asking?

BOOM!! Everyone will turn and look when you fire that one up on the range. Looks like fun!

Congratulations! They are the MOST fun to bring to the range. Since we started reloading, I don't feel as guilty running a couple dozen rounds through mine on weekends (beats paying $1.80+ a round for Hornady factory). Not sure if they resolved the design issue, but you might want to check the screw on the safety after each use; I guess due to vibration, mine has a tendency to loosen up now & then and drop between shots (can be embarrassing, since after the first round you usually have an audience LOL)

Make sure you get some video (and frame stills from the video) shooting it at night; the DE .50AE has EPIC muzzle flash!

WOW! That is impressive! Reminds me of some slow burning powder I was experimenting with when I was reloading for my 44 mag. Night shoots were fun!

Y'know... A "Why?" isn't even necessary here... I understand why you'd buy one. Because you can is the only reason you need!!! Congrats!
