New YouTuber. Who has seen him?

I ran across this new YouTuber the other day and have now seen all his video's. He has been posting on YouTube for about 2 months now I guess and he is all about the gun's (and cars, and knives, and other expensive things).

He is a bit over-the-top, but I generally like him. I wondered if he is on this forum or the other one's I visit, If he/you are here, Let us know.

His name on YouTube is WeaponsEducation.

Here's my 2 cents.

1) He tends to brag a bit too much for me, showing his Escalade, BMW, Benz and Viper in one video is too much. For the others like me who live on low income due to disability, it tends to be like he is proud of his wealth, as he should be. if I had tons of money, I'd probably brag too, showing off is in testosterone DNA I think. Anyway, I like his gun video's and seeing his collection but it can be "I wish this guy would tone it down a little"

2) I wish he would abandon the whole "Straight Shooter" nic-name. His name is Tom, just say Tom, and call his wife by her name, or make a better nic name, "Mrs. Straight Shooter" is too much.

3) Show your face, I don't know ANY other YouTuber (ANYWHERE) who is afraid of showing there face. after all, if someone was to assault you after seeing your collection, they would be dumb. If it's a business thing, I understand that. Anyway, It would be good to show your face.

4) Learn how to edit video's better, buy a Mac, you can afford it with your wealth. Then learn to shoot better, you move the camera too fast.

I'm only writing all this for 1) maybe he is here and 2) to clue you in so if you watch his video's do you agree with me or not?

Like I tell people that make this assumption....

One's own possessions is not an indicator of wealth.

He's either very wealthy, or he's drowning in debt. I suspect the latter.

Not really for me! Even the "history" he tries to tell people about the firearms sucks, it's him talking for the whole video! Show some old photos of the firearm plants and firearms being made.

hehe..just to let everyone know...i'm not the guy in the channel. But you are correct he needs to state the facts and if you want to impart your view on to other people you need to make it right and not push your agenda...or show off.

A lot of people in the gun, tactical and defensive community are turned off by stuff like that. If you have a youtube channel to stroke your ego...well your numbers are going to show it.


So if you do not like the channel just drop it and not see it. I agree he is over the top so I do not watch him and I do not depend on other peoples opinion on what I need to carry and where I need to carry...or if I need to travel what I need to do.

It is our own responsability as responsable citizens and adults to make an informed decision on our every day life and our way of life and views ( we all carry a gun...every day...it is our adult choice to do it..right?) ok so why do you need to take in to consideration the the views or agenda of a total stranger???

to me is us being lazy and wanting a quick answer...well...with an attitude like that...you can get in trouble and who are you going to blame? ....well I watched this guy in youtube (by the way I do not like his guts) and he said on the video that I could do it.. mean while you are in front of a judge and jury. Well.... that is not a good defense is it.


so let the guy blow steam..and show his cool toys... and not show his huge debt....so in short

do your research, ask the questions to the real pros..(lawyers, LEO, instructors) and learn the correct way to do things. be safe and enjoy the sport.
