New York's strict gun restrictions seem to be working...

Although sometimes well intentioned, I firmly believe that proponents of gun control law who are like Bloomberg are more concerned with publicity and controlling people, not crime.

The People of New York, in the eyes of the rich (who can afford protection) and the eyes of the politician (who are rarely affected by gun violence) are "Fodder". Acceptable Collateral Damage. If the hungry & desperate feed on their own and in their own "hoods" then the likely hood of "IT" spilling out on 5th or Park avenue is nil, unlikely to happen. The City of New York averages over 400 murders a year, "Give or Take", as long as MOST of it is contained then it's ALL GOOD! "Acceptable Collateral Damage".

In other words, when you only allow the best of resources to protect the "few", everybody else who don't fall into the "few" are not allowed to protect themselves.

IMHO

Oh forgot to add! That's why Howard Stern, Donald Trump, and Chuck Schumer get to have a full carry permit in NYC and you don't! "The Few" or "The Fodder" Which are you??

You are exactly right on. It's a sad reality that Elitist Fascism is alive and well in America. :(
