Yeah, but I have to admit it made me laugh. Must be that juvenile sense of humor buried deep inside me somewhere.
I enjoy the heck out of watching MMA, and it seems fairly obvious fat guy does too. He was scrambling for position from the bottom and even used loud mouth's black top shirt against him like some of the old MMA fighters would use a gi, by basically having him "handcuffed" or half a hog-tie by the time he came up from the bottom. He'd already punched him several times to the face while loud mouth was tied up by his own shirt. By the time fat guy mounted his back and started the ground and pound, any MMA ref worth his salt would've stopped the fight no later than after the first or second punch in order to keep the basically knocked-out fighter safe from real injury, and that's what I based my first post on. I have nothing against fighting per se, I've seen others do it all my life and never understood the appeal myself, but like I say, I enjoy watching the sport end of it. I think that fat guy was so far out of control that if it hadn't been for bystanders starting to yell at him to stop, he probably wouldn't have until loud mouth was dead or severely injured. And for all we know, he was/is severely injured. I could name and tell the entire stories of two of my favorite musicians who both died in motorcycle wrecks, one hitting his head on a concrete curb, and the other taking a glancing blow to the head from a city bus. Both lived for several hours with closed head injuries as both of their brains swelled inside an intact skull. One never regained consciousness, but the other walked home and was sitting around with friends and band members for a couple of hours before he went crazy, then into convulsions, before the people there dragged him to a hospital against protestations. He died four hours later. Heads are funny things. They don't take trauma like what we see in that video well at all, and what happens after a beating like that could be anyone's guess. My knowledge of such types of injuries is precisely why I never gave an inch thinking that Zimmerman was justified in shooting Martin when he did after seeing the pics of his head injuries. Closed head injuries can be much worse than open ones, because they appear normal until their brain starts trying to swell outside the confines of the skull, which doesn't have any "give" to it.
Fat guy may yet find that he's wanted for murder or aggravated assault causing serious injury. We would probably never know since the Description of the video says it was posted by the guy shooting it, and he was just a bystander who happened to start rolling on the argument. He didn't know any of the actors.
Loud mouth did engender a long-ago memory for me though. Eddie Murphy had a standup show he released on VHS (that's how long ago it was...HA!) called "Delirious" during which he did a segment of him being back in the slave days. He was actin' all tough and grabbin' his crotch just like loud mouth was, and sayin' "Suck mah di__, massa, suck mah MF'in' di__!" I know it doesn't sound funny here and now, but the segment was hilarious, and before the fight ever started in the video, I kind of had a little bit of empathy for the guy. LOL I know, it's a stretch, but you should find the Murphy thing on YouTube or something and see how close they sound to each other.
Oh well. Another diversion from real life.....At least for us. LOL
